Emilia POV:
"Well, this is interesting." I said, looking at my two youngest children standing behind a human and a pixie. I looked at the girl she was wearing one of the castle outfits, and it looked like Fleur had done her hair. It has the elegance and messiness that signifies Fleurs work.
"Hello, your Majastys." The girl said as she bowed. I turned to my husband, who tilted his head twords Ira. The girl definitely reminded me of Iras' description of one of the members of the glitter force Glitter Dimond if I am correct. "I'm Rachel Hishijawa, or as you might know me, Glitter Diamond." The human introduced herself. I smiled and kept my eyes on her. Ira had described her very well. She seemed polite and respectful, "This is my pixie partner, Rory." She continued, and the blue pixie bowed while floating in the air. I nodded my head to the pixie. It was unusual to have a Splendorian creature in the Gokai Kingdom.
"It's a pleasure to meet you both, but why are you here?" I asked, hopping to get more to the point. Ira couldn't have brought her even if he wanted to with the barrier up. Oh dear, I hope she came and is hoping to stay because there isn't any way we can take it down.
"Well, my Glitter pad brought us here. We don't know why but it normally has a reason for bringing us places." Rachel continued. Oh dear, let's hope this Glitter pad is able to take her home once she figures out why she's here. Maybe we can help her with that part.
"So you are here to figure out why you are here?" My husband asked. Rachel stated to play with her fingers nervously.
"Actually, I wanted to see if you could send me home. I have thought about it a bit, and I don't know why it brought me here, and I normally have my friends with me when things like this happen, except this time I'm alone. And the Glitter Crystal pad isn't taking me home." I smiled slightly at the fact that she was still talking even though she was clearly nervous.
"We would love to send you home, but we can't take down the barrier." I said regretfully but not budging.
"If you don't mind me asking, why can't you take down the barrier?" The pixie asked nervously, floating forward.
"We are hoping to let things calm down more in the kingdom. We don't need more mercainers like Riva and Gura going over to Splendorious and Earth. It would be even worse if we opened it and then closed it because then we risk even more mercainers going through when we send our guards. We would also be risking mercainers who can't control their powers teleporting out, and we would have the same problem of opening and closing it." My husband explained, and I nodded. I could see Ira and Fluer both sigh but nod as if they had been expecting this.
"If you don't mind, how long are you waiting for things to calm down? Are they not calm enough now?" Rachel continued a hint of fear in her voice.
"The barrier will be up for another nine days." I said, and she blinked.
"Then things are calm?" She asked. I turned to Ira.
"They are as far as we can tell, but the only reason that you didn't have to fight them is because they waited too long, and the barrier was put up. They are the kind to wait and plan in the shadows." Ira explained. I nodded at him, proud.
"Would it be possible to open the barrier early, no closing it again?" Rachel asked. I shook my head. Fleur stepped forward and looked at us. I gave her a smile and gestured for her to speak.
"Opening the barrier early would be showing signs of chaos and disorganization. We need to stick to the plan. That way, the citizens know they can depend on us and that we don't stray from our word." Fleur said, and once more, I was filled with pride. Rachel nodded, and it went silent. She seemed to have no more questions.
"Since, it would appear that you have no place to go, then you may stay here. We can provide you with room, food, clothes, anything you need." I said, and Rachel gave a small smile.
"Thank you." She said and turned to Rory, who bowed.
"Thank you." Rory said as well.
"I'm truly sorry about your situation. If we can help in any way, we will. All you have to do is ask." My husband said, and she bowed once more. Let's see how these next nine days go.
