Ira POV:

Yeah, this is chaos. The music was way too loud to actually have a conversation but that didn't stop anyone from trying. Some people were wearing ball gowns, others had sweatpants and oversized tee shirts. The one thing everyone had in common was the fact that they wanted to have fun. There was dancing in which several people were almost hit by carelessness of surroundings. Laughing that managed to be heard even over the blaring music. Games being played in corners of the room. This is why Richard has one of the bigger bedrooms, so he can cram a lot of people in it for parties. Why he doesn't us literally any other room is still a mystery.

"Wha...going... night?" I turned at Rachels voice and she leaned in closer, "Is this what's it's going to be like all night?"

"Probably." I replied. It's been like this pretty much every other time. They only end when the sun starts to rise, how they manage to stay up all night is also a mystery.

Rachel looked around taking everything in, "Is this fun?" She asked leaning in again so I could hear.

"Depends on who you ask." Rachel backed away and looked at the mercenares who did seem to be having a great time. I tapped her on the shoulder, and I leaned closer, "Did you want to try learning one of the games we commonly play at parties?"

Rachel glanced at the corner of the room where the games were being played, "I guess I can watch, but I there are too many people to play."

"Got it." Dustin probably would have said the same thing. No wonder he become comfortable around her so fast. I took her hand and tapped Fleur on the shoulder. Fleur looked up at me and I nodded to one of the games taking place she nodded, and we made our way over trying to avoid bumping into anyone or being hit in the face by a dancer's hair or something. Once we got there we had to stand on our tippy toes, a difficult thing for Rachel in her heels, in order to see. They were holding a deck of cards with images on the cards. The were shuffled and one card was handed to each person right side up then two cards upside down for them to look at, "Fate." I said to Rachel, "You draw one card at the start of your turn and choose which one to play. Every card is unique and has different effects depending on which cards have been played."

"How do you win or lose?" Rachel asked watching as a player assessed their cards before laughing and setting one down. The people around started to laugh as well. It was a stupid move playing the jester with a harvest, but many people did it due to the joke that instead of using the harvest card for growth or stability, they use it to throw food at a jester.

"Either by being the last player or having the best cards." This is actually a complicated game isn't it, "You can be eliminated because of a card you play or a card someone else plays. Some of them eliminate you the next round unless a certain card is played before that."

"Mabey a simpler game would be better to learn?" Rachel asked looking around. I nodded taking her hand again Fleur took her other hand and started to drag us away with a smirk. I looked to see where we were headed and saw Richard talking to Penny and Gale. I turned to Fleur and gave her a nod with a matching her smirk. Rachel looked at the two of us suspiciously before looking at Richard who was blushing ever so slightly. She turned to me and raised her eyebrow.

"Gale, Penny!" Fleur called out. Richard turned around and his eyes widened when he spotted us.

He quickly turned back to Gale, "Hey Gale didn't you want to try playing Fate? I made sure to set down a deck over there." Richard pointed and the mercenare left with a shrug and wave towards us. Poor Gale is so used to this happening, anytime me or Fleur show up he is pushed away.

"Hey you little troublemakers." Penny said with a wave a pen in her hand. When Richard turned to her skeptically, she casually slipped the pen into her pocket of her jeans. I am glad she always tells us what her victim of the night is. I don't think there has been a single party she hasn't took something of Richards and hid it from him.
