Rory POV:

I transformed back to my pixie form after becoming a chair. Davi made it look so easy to turn into a human but it really wasn't. Rachel stirred and sat up. She had slept in late today, probably because she had gotten up late last night and talked to Ira. I didn't hear what about though. Rachel picked up the book and smiled. She started to write and I flew over.

'Morning! Sorry about not saying goodnight we crashed hard last night.' Maya had written. That makes sense. Those girls always give one hundred and ten percent.

'It's alright it means you had a lot of fun yesterday. At least I hope that is what it means.' Rachel had replied.

'Oh yeah, we did and we will have so much more fun when we can go with you!' Maya had written. Rachel was looking at the page and seemed to be thinking about something. She started to write.

'How have my parents been? With me gone and all?' Rachel wrote she intently watched the page.

'Oh we didn't want to make you feel bad, so I didn't bring them up. They have been really worried, but that's a good thing right so don't feel guilty or anything." Maya wrote quickly her handwriting messier than normal. I look up to see Rachel smiling tearing up slightly. She quickly wiped away the tears before they could fall and interrupted Mayas handwriting.

'It's alright, I just wanted to know. Can you tell them that I love them, and a great family is taking care of me so I'm beyond safe?' Rachel asked.

'Of course! To be honest I have been calling them whenever you write to me to keep them updated. They have called me a few times to ask if you wrote.' Maya continued. My stomach grumbled and I looked down at it hoping Rachel hadn't heard.

'Thanks, I should probably get going I think Rory needs some breakfast.' Darn, she did hear.

"I would appreciate that," I said.

"So would I." Rachel agreed she glanced down to see Maya writing bye. She closed the book and slipped it into her bag. She grabbed the blue skirt and the long-sleeved shirt. She ran into the bathroom and changed. She came out and adjusted the sleeves of her shirt. She grabbed the bag slipped it over her shoulder and opened the door. I flew out and she paused in front of Ira's door.

"He will come down when he is ready," Fleur said walking by.

"Got it thanks," Rachel said lingering for a moment before moving on.

"I like the ruffled section on your shirt. Fleur commented as we walked, "It's a good design it contrasts with the bishop sleeves."

"The what sleeves?" Rachel asked looking down.

"You see how there is a lot of fabric hanging over the cuff to give it volume, but it ends in a cuff that is more fitted to your arm?" Fleur asked we both nodded, "That's called a bishop sleeve."

"That's some interesting information." Rachel said looking at Fleur curiously, "Are you planning on becoming a fashion design when you grow up?"

"No." Fleur said with a smile, "I just like fashion and hanging out with Marmo. She's amazing you know."

"I did have that thought when we were at her store," Rachel said back.

"Wish I could have gone. I had to spend the entire day practicing though." Fleur said disappointed.

"Practicing what exactly?" Rachel asked as they turned the corner.

"My powers. I have a lot to live up to so I have to practice a lot." Fleur said seriously.

"Is it difficult?" I asked. Transforming is.

"Some of it. I'm already pretty good at materializing energy it is levitation I'm struggling with. Which is annoying because everyone I know who has levitation is really good at it." Fleur admitted bitterly playing with a strand of her hair.
