Y/n's POV:
it was the day after striker had left and that big fight with us all had happened, i was still feeling a bit shook by it all but i just slowly tried to forget about it.
i walked downstairs and out the door with my big suitcase in hand.
"we taught you better than this millie. how could you just let him catch you like that?"
millie's mum was shouting at her and seemed pretty annoyed as her arms were crossed and she just gave millie a cold, hard stare.
"i was seeing red ma! and he was slippery-"
millie just rolled her eyes and sat still while her father finished rapping up her arm.
i squeeze passed them and threw my things into the back of that van, i went over to put moxxie's things away as he has just finished closing his and went over to to talk to millies parents.
he looked like he was really telling them off.
we all climbed into the car and got buckled up to go before i yelled "WAIT! i forgot something in the house."
blitzo groaned and i quickly hopped out and ran up the stairs into my room.
i walked over to the dresser and grabbed some pairs of socks that i had left onto of it and turned around to leave, when something caught my eye.
i walked over to my bed and saw a small piece of paper on it. it was addressed to me, i picked it up but didn't want to keep everyone waiting any longer so i just put it in my pocket and dashed outside and back into the van.
we all said our goodbyes for one final time and sped off.
*time skip to a few minutes after they had left*
i put my hands into my pocket and realised i had the note in it.
i quickly took it out and look at it.
"what you got there y/n?" mox turned and asked me.
"i dunno, it just appeared on my bed when i went to go back and grab my socks."
i slowly open it up and read it to myself.
"come to the getaway motel at 5:30pm sharp, i'll be waiting doll.
-striker"
i quickly folded up the note and put it back into my pocket,blushing slightly
"so what was it?" mox asked and everyone turned to look at me ,except blitz.
"oh! it was just a uhm... goodbye note from lin and joe..!"
everyone looked at me with confused looks but just shrugged it off like it was nothing.
i breathed out in relief and looked back out the window.
i knew this "vacation" was going to end in chaos.
