clouds are just evaporated water and toxic gas. why do they still significantly demonstrate the course of Life more than any alive being ?
we watch them running in the sky and picture it as "time moving away"
we tell our loved ones to look at them and catch shapes and faces in them
we tell our children that deceased people go "to the sky"
same for the stars, why would we associate death to "going to the stars"? they're just incandescent bulbs of light. they're not even something beautiful. just tiny shining points who we make wishes to. why do we rely on beautiful but dead things for almost all our lives ? I still wish to stars and I still watch clouds running in the sky for hours even knowing that won't change anything to who I am and what I feel.
how crazy it is to think there's more going on in the sky than in my own life
