I Am Screwed...

Getting to school this morning was difficult. I was still nervous as hell that Claire was going to question me about what happened yesterday, and scared that someone was going to figure out my secret. And to little help in this situation, Gohan had decided to walk to school with me today!
"They're going to start thinking you have something to hide too Gohan," I mumbled to him.
"I'm trying to make sure you don't have a mental breakdown in class today. Besides, I can help calm you down if things get tense, got it?" He clarified with me. I knew there was no convincing him otherwise, but luckily I must have missed Claire coming in because it seemed like she wasn't there. This made thing a a little easier for me, and I was able to get through my first class with no issues. Still, I would find myself distracted throughout the lecture thinking about yesterday. With Claire in my arms like that, I felt unstoppable. Of course the panic set in to ruin that, but still. The bell rang to remind me that I was in school and to let me know that lunch time had finally arrived. I sat down by myself at a table and started eating the meager portions they provided(meager for a Saiyan at least).
"Hey Celton," I heard Gohan say. I turned as the half-Saiyan sat next to me.
"G-Gohan?!" I mumbled to him. "I am fine you can—" as soon as I said those words I saw Claire. She sat down at the table next to the one I was sat at, with her back to me. I don't think she'd seen me, but I damn sure saw her.
"Calm down, just ignore her," Gohan whispered to me. That was easier said than done. I couldn't help but glance at here every now and then. I tried to focus more on my food rather than her, but then something happened that I couldn't ignore. A sound caught my attention, and I saw three guys standing around her. Something started burning inside me as they kept trying to talk to her, and she clearly wasn't interested. Gohan must've noticed me, because he set a hand on my shoulder.
"Come on, just let her handle it," he tried to soothe me. I clenched my fist as my eyes locked firmly on the tall boy with long blonde hair who wasn't leaving Claire alone. I hit a tipping point when Claire went to stand up, but then the boy grabbed her and pushed her to the wall. In an instant I had slid over the table perfectly between two students and landed tall on my feet.
"Leave her alone," I told the bully. Him and his cronies turned to see me and chuckled a little.
"Well, look who it is. Mr. Nobody. What was your name again? 'Cunton'?" Laughed the blonde.
"I'm not asking again. Walk... away," I threatened.
"A nobody like you ain't got nothing to do with this. So how about you walk away bitch," the boy said. I stood my ground and walked towards him. The bully tried to swing a punch at me, but I was behind him well before he even thought to punch me. I lightly planted my fist in his back, and sent him flying forward several feet. He barely stood with his back to me in shock as I now stood between him and Claire. I extended an arm out in front of Claire as the bully turned back around.
"You want to hurt her? Then you go through me," I growled. The boy gritted his teeth and charged to strike me, but he needed to faster if he wanted to hit me. A hundred times faster. I leaned my head away from his fist and simply extended my own. The bully went flying back another thirty feet in less than a second. I stood tall in defense of Claire, a far cry from my recent anxiety. The bully and his posse went running for the hills, and I smirked with my Saiyan pride... at least until I saw Gohan, who's face was firmly in his palm. The hundreds of eyes on me then caused my anxiety to spike and I slowly bolted out of the cafeteria. I didn't stop running until I was in a fairly vacated section of the school with my back against the lockers. I peered around a corner to see if I had been followed, but luckily I saw no one. I let out an uneasy sigh and leaned my head back, before a hand slammed against a locker next to it. I yelped and opened my eyes to see Claire had found me. SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!!
"Alright, spill," she said to me.
"I-I-I don't k-know what y-you're talking ab-bout," I stuttered. Oh great job! You've fought tyrants in space and yet can't string a sentence together because of an aggressive pretty girl!
"Bullshit. You sent Sharpener flying with those punches, literally. And you saved me from a truck that was going too fast for anyone to do what you did," she summed up. "Now spill it."
"I-it was nothing. J-just... d-dumb luck?" I tried Gohan's excuse. Claire sighed and let her hand fall, clearing my escape path. Now's your chance! Run!... I didn't move an inch.
"Look, you don't have to tell me anything. Just... thank you. For... everything," Claire said. I nodded slightly, but I don't think she notice. She turned to start walking away, but then my heart pounded louder than ever.
"Wait!" I called out to her. What the hell am I doing?! Claire looked back to me with her hazel eyes and I almost choked up.
"W-we never did ge-get that coffee," I finally said. Claire smiled and pulled a bang away from her eyesight.
"Take me after school then? Sandwiches and coffee?" She proposed. I smiled and gave Claire a quick nod.
"S-s-sounds good," I said. Claire shot me back a smile before she walked off, leaving me to my thoughts in the hallway... what have you gotten yourself into Celton?
