"You know what? Chances are, your alpha is a handsome young man. And he's filthy rich. I mean, think about it, Taehyung,” Jimin grunts. He's rolling his eyes and huffed, “It's not even rocket science and you don't have to be a genius one to comprehend that."

"I hate Math, Jimin," Taehyung scoffs. He rolled up another shirt and put it in the suitcase.

"Yeah, says the brilliant one with always A+ in his scores and grades," Jimin chuckles, waving his right hand nonchalantly.

Then he continued, "Look, Babe. The fortune teller said that your Alpha will change your destiny in 180 degrees, not 360 degrees. 180 degrees is half of 360 degrees. And that means you'll head in the exact opposite direction. If you made a 360 degree change, you would be heading in the exact same direction as when you started, right?”

“Babe, stop talking about degrees-”

“So in conclusion, your alpha could be a royal one, right? He’ll be very rich and young. And he’s handsome too. He’s a great provider and finally you'll live in a fairytale. You’ll be waving goodbye forever to poverty,” Jimin spoke in a serious tone.

Taehyung sighed, “I wish. It’s just-”

“Hey, I'm just saying and I'm not even joking, okay. We knew that neither of us wanted to live any longer in this damned poverty. We have every right to live in prosperity. We deserve to live happily in abundance,” Jimin emphasized his point of view.

Taehyung took a deep breath. He was used to listening to Jimin complaining about the same damn things. The brunette was packing his clothes because he was moving to Seoul for college and Jimin helped him pack.

Tomorrow morning, he will leave his pack, Lunar. He will leave his family, his hometown and all behind, momentarily. He'll go to college and chase his dreams to be an architect, a successful one.

"Don't you even remember what the fortune teller said? This alpha could possibly be your ticket to ride, Babe. He could be the solution for all your problems," Jimin's eyes lit up excitedly, "And if that's so, your future children will be luckier than us. They'll live a prosperous and lavish life. Their childhoods won't be as miserable as ours; sharing breadcrumbs and cold soup most nights. An alpha's children would be much luckier, we know about that absolutely."

"I'm not asking for a lavish life, Jimin.”

“Excuse me?!” Jimin suddenly got up from bed and looked at his best friend closely.

“And I definitely won't marry for money. I'm just gonna work hard for that," Taehyung mutters as he shrugged.

"Taehyung, look around you. You should ask for a lavish life, Honey. It's not even a sin. We should normalize luxury life since suffering is not an achievement at all.”

Taehyung sighs, he looks a bit irritated.

“I know, I know. That doesn't mean love isn't important though. We just gotta work hard and work smarter in life," Jimin utters as he comes closer to his friend.

"Hear me out, Sweetheart. We've talked about this many times before. A roof over your head, a shelter, bread and fish on the table, thick blankets to keep you warm and cozy in autumn and winter... We all need that,” Jimin held Taehyung’s hands as he frowned his eyebrows.

Jimin looked concerned as he spoke, “We all have the right to live well in prosperity. People need money to survive, we need money for a good living. Because money is protection. You need to pay the bills and debts to support your well-being. If I were you, I would continue to beg and pray fervently for that tarot reading to come into fruition," He stated.
