Hearing Seokjin's words, Jungkook's face changed drastically. From previously smiling widely and beaming, his expression changed completely as he now frowned.

"Oh. Yeah... I met the elders and deans this afternoon. The actions of those three delinquents cannot be tolerated. But it seems like both my father and my grandfather have the same opinion as your husband," The young alpha snorted and looked away. His jaw clenched to hold back the irritation that made his blood boil instantly.

"Hey Kookie, I know how you feel. We're on this together, Kook... My husband and I are on your side, you know that right?"

Jungkook grunted and looked away, but he nodded, even if he was clearly upset.

"Kook, what Lucas, Jennie and Felix did to Taehyung cannot simply be forgiven. I get it. The three of them and their motorbike gangs not only often cause chaos on the campus, I heard about them a lot. I heard that they often fight with young people from other packs too. And honestly, they're endangered and threatened the peace that has been well established in our community so far," Jin countered in a low voice, not wanting to wake Taehyung up.

"I know, right? They're pieces of shit. They have ruined and disturbed public order," Jungkook gritted his teeth as his eyes glistened with anger, "Shouldn't the elders encourage and guide the younger generation? I couldn't believe that the elders would just let them go. They must be punished, Hyung. Kim Jennie, Lucas Wong and Felix Lee must be tried in our community courts," Jungkook said firmly. He looked really, really upset.

"Hey, easy. I know, Kook. Yet we know why we can't be reckless in this situation," Jin interjects, "That's why we must be careful in our plan to address it. Be patient, Kookie."

The raven-head young man huffed as he looked almost exploded in wrath-

"Look, if you're willing to know my humble opinion, um-"

"Don't hesitate to tell me then. Go on. Spill it out."

For a second, the two of them are just staring at each other in silence. And right after Jungkook got himself together, he sighed, “Alright then. I'm cool, really. It’s okay, Doctor. Just tell me, what do you think about it?”

"I hate to break it to you, but I'm afraid that these three young people cannot be touched by the law considering their parents hold high power in the political and economy of our kind."

"So?" Jungkook reacts stubbornly and rebelliously.

"So you know better that their parents are the key to every important trade and other transactions between us werewolves and humans and vampires, right?" Seokjin seemed really concerned.

Jungkook gulped all of sudden, "Okay, alright, I'm really listening right now," He huffed. His face turned sour in the blink of an eye as he massaged his forehead.

"So, what I was saying is, instead of trying to get the elders and the whole campus to impose punishments on Jennie, Lucas and Felix, I suggest that you should just focus on looking after Taehyung."

"B-but I'm focusing on him, Hyung," Jungkook sounds a bit defensive.

"No, you're not."

"What are you talking about? I'm trying to protect-"

"Kookie, listen up. It's better for you to arrange your engagement with him as soon as possible."

"What? But-"

"You love him, right? You've fallen for him? Last time I checked, you've been starstruck by this omega."

"Y-yeah, of course I'm-"

"Then do it ASAP. It's better for you to announce to the public that you have imprinted on him and he is your mate now," Jin fervently suggested (or more like respectfully commanded him) as they both looked at each other and shared a meaningful gaze. The young alpha looks confused though.

"Jungkook, you need to make sure everyone and this whole world knows that he is officially your omega. That way, no one will dare to mess with Taehyung. That way, you really protect him. You've protected him that way because we know no one would dare to mess with the Jeon family. They don't wanna get into trouble since this omega is your mate for life," Jin was telling him his point of view.

The young raven-head alpha came to realize. He still looked upset yet he seemed hopeless too. In fact, he now looks weak, listless, lethargic and defeated.

Poor Jungkook looks so powerless and very defeated.

“Damn it!” The young alpha grunts, “So… By all that means, I really can't ignore the fact that the Kim clan and Jennie's parents are distantly related to my cousin Namjoon. Right, Hyung?” Kookie finally said after some time.

“I’m afraid so. You can’t avoid that matter too, JK,” And now Doctor Kim Seokjin looks hopeless and defeated.

Poor Jeon Jungkook sighed. His chest felt heavier than before, "Their ancestors were bound not only by blood ties but strong brotherly vows too for several generations. Not to mention other inevitable things. My, my. The shits got real here," He lowered his head down. The raven-head alpha felt that he was trapped in this situation and couldn't escape.

"Exactly. I know it sucks but it is what it is..."

"Yeah, I get it, Hyung. But it sucks and-"

"And the other major problem is, we know that the Wong clan and Lucas' parents play a very important role in the political and economic of our kind in Hong Kong," Seokjin interjects, "The Wong clan are in charge in Thailand and mainland China too, Kookie. Likewise, the Lee clan and Felix's parents play major roles throughout the Australia continent. If there is a problem between our pack and them, if we become enemies with them, if anything ... Then there will be war. And no one wants that. I know it sucks for you. It sucks for us all. But this problem is huge, Kook," Seokjin warned him, "And we don't wanna shit hit the fan, absolutely."

The alpha sighed, "Ew. We don't wanna shit hit the fan," Jungkook said ironically as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"You're right. Ew," Doctor Seokjin took a deep breath and forced a little laugh.

The young Jeon scoffed in a mocking and sarcastic tone after some time, "Well then, looks like we're caught in some pretty serious shit, huh? Fuckin' ass," He retorted in annoyance.

"I hope you can handle the situation wisely and carefully. If anything, if you take the slightest wrong step, then boom. We're doomed. There's no going back. Chaos could occur. War and violence will erupt. Inflation would be inevitable for us and our kind. We've already lived a peaceful, prosperous and abundant life lately. But if you start a war, then Solar, our pack, will be gone in a flash of light. We'll be doomed and damned, Jungkook. That would be worse than hell," Seokjin's voice sounds like a plea.

"And we don't want that. It'll be a terrible disaster for everyone," The young alpha muffled as he closed his eyes and massaged his forehead.

"That's my whole point. You wouldn't want to live in a world where war and famine are everywhere, it'll be horrifying," Jin mutters with the most serious tone of voice, "You know, sometimes we are weaker than our opponents. If that's the case, we can become their friends and allies instead of committing suicide by continuing to insist on fighting them. If our muscles are not strong enough, then at least our brain has to take over in a more bright, clever and respectful way, strategically. With all humility, we create peace that benefits all parties and make them our allies in the most humble ways possible."

"Just like what we've been doing all this time," Jungkook sighed.

"Correct. Does that make sense to you?"

And the raven-head alpha nodded helplessly.
