"Why is JK taking so long? He left for almost an hour to get pizza," Seokjin mumbled, "I'll call the nurse to send your dinner on time."

"I'm not that hungry yet, Hyung. How about we eat some chiffon cake and just have a talk for a while?" Taehyung asked, "Pleaseee?"

"Surely if you want that," Seokjin smiled and got up to cut the chiffon cake into slices.

"I don't really know why I have the guts to tell you this considering we just met. But I've been feeling like a failure lately, Hyung . I wanna feel good about me and my life to a certain extent," Taehyung admitted as Seokjin gave him a piece of chiffon cake.

"Oh Sweetheart, I know... I'm here to help. You can count on me. And Jungkook will gladly help you too, I'm pretty sure about that. But now, you focus on your health first. We know that healing is a matter of time and sometimes it's also a matter of opportunity. Now you've already had the opportunity, you can relax a bit and take your time, Honey," Seokjin smiled.

"I'm worried about everything. What if Jungkook's father didn't like me?" The brunette omega utters.

"I'm not really sure about that. I feel like there's something wrong with me and I want to end this right here right now-"

"Then please, Hyung. Tell me more about you," He asked the doctor, "I feel like I can gain some more of the empowerment and the encouragement that I needed from you," Taehyung was amazed and galvanized.

"Well, I was so lucky to have Namjoon as my alpha. When I needed a shoulder to cry on, he was always there for me. He gave this and that and gave everything that I needed. He had loved me with all that he got. But then I've come to realize that it takes two to tango, right?"

Taehyung nodded as he munched the sweet and delicate chiffon cake.

"I need to be less clingy and needy and take responsibility for my emotional needs. I gotta level up mentally and emotionally. I know that I need to fill my own cup since I don't want to drain him even more. I realized that I have to be emotionally independent too. I can't keep relying on others for validation and acceptance. I need to do that for myself too. Namjoon is a strong alpha, yet he is just a werewolf. It's really unfair for him. It's so unhealthy for us if I demand more and take more from him while he gives and gives and receives less. I need to take care of my own needs and I need to get real. I couldn't just take and take from him."

"Uh-uh," Taehyung nodded as he grabbed his smartphone and started recording their conversation.
