"It's just-" Taehyung was in doubt and he's afraid, "I'm-, me and family, we didn't come from money and status. And I feel so ashamed, I feel so small and useless and I don't know if I have the guts to stand beside him as his omega-"
"Sweet Pea, what are you talking about?" Seokjin softened as he fondly caressed Tae's cheek, "Don't you worry about that. You'll get through this and they're-"
"B-but Hyung, me and my family, we really didn't come from money and status-"
"Oh, stop the nonsense, My Dear," Seokjin waved his hand lightly, "Money, looks and status, it doesn't really matter, trust me."
"But honestly, I, uh- I came from a really humble place. Meanwhile Jungkook was perfectly flawless and-"
"It doesn't really matter where you came from, Taehyung, as long as you have a good heart doing good deeds, right?" Seokjin cupped Taehyung's cheeks lovingly.
"Besides, we are not humans. We're werewolves. We're children of the Moon. Never forget about who we are," Seokjin stated with pride.
The doctor continued, "Humans can be concerned with differences in status, class, ethnicity, nation, religion, or other backgrounds. And it sucks, it is very sad to see what happened to the human race. The difference can cause them a miserable war and famine for years. Even in everyday life, humans often argue and behave badly and unfairly towards each other. Terrible people do terrible things to others. It's nuts. Their world is cold. So many come-down and deterioration in every aspect and area in this civilization. Have you noticed?"
"I guess so..." Taehyung mutters.
"Human's advances have more or less influenced our lives since we all live side by side with each other. Most of those people seem to think that life is an endless race and having only a good heart is not enough. It's all shallow and superficial for them. And then, the advance of technology has a dark side and its down-grade. It's getting worse nowadays. Since smartphones and social media are easily accessible everywhere, some humans did good things just to get recognition and praise. They did it to gain money. Their goodness turns out to be artificial. It's all fake and it turns out most of it is just a setup, it didn't come from sincerity. That superficiality is just ... corny and sad," Doctor Kim Seokjin sighed.
"But we are not like them, right?" Seokjin added, "Werewolves will not end up that way. We're not gonna live that way, right? It is true that there's discrimination and injustice here and there in our community. And I'm so sorry about that. But I believe we will find a way to live better than the human race. We, werewolves, won't end up in that kind of way. We will live better than that. Right, Honey?" Seokjin soothed him leniently since he understands what the brunette omega was thinking.
The brunette took a deep breath and nodded although his eyes were glistening, his chest was heavy and there was a lump in his throat. Taehyung wants to believe him. He wants to trust his words.
"I don't know..." The younger omega sighed.
"My unsolicited advice is don't let it get into you, Taehyung Darling-"
"I feel so unworthy, useless and undeserving of an alpha like Jeon Jungkook," Taehyung bursted with a cracked voice, "I'm-, I'm afraid that the Jeons won't even like me. They will hate me for who I am. Or even worse, they'll look down on me and my family because we're not rich."
"No, My Dear. That's not right, you're wrong-"
"I feel inferior seeing Jungkook being worshiped and adored by those omegas and betas. They are much better than me. I don't deserve an alpha as great as him. I'm so ugly and dumb and broke. I'm just a poor and pathetic omega-" Taehyung ranted and raved.
