Taehyung sat on the hospital bed. He was busy pondering his hushed reveries. The brunette leaned against the headboard as he stared at the orange sunset through the window.

The twilight; the soft glowing light from the sky when the sun is below the horizon, caused by the refraction and scattering of the sun's rays from the atmosphere, looks so magically pretty. The sky looks yellowish, reddish and golden at dusk. It's exquisite, the omega thought.

His friends and all the crowd have gone home, except for some of Jungkook's friends who are still with him. They talked for a while on the visitors' bench outside his room.

Taehyung understands that as an adult he is fully responsible for his life and his outcomes.

The omega has been managing this mindset for a long time. Once, from his hopeless point of view, he thought it's impossible to expect someone/ other people/ his partner to be his savior or his hero.

Just like in the fairy tales and folklore he had read when he was a child, he had to fight a dragon and emerge victorious. Taehyung had to save himself and become his own hero.

He himself must step up and level up to some degree and become his own hero in the story of his life. He gets it. Yet he'll be keeping his fingers crossed that good luck and a brand new, better day is on its way.

Of course, the omega sometimes fantasizes that he was a princess saved by a brave, charming prince riding a white horse. His prince charming, his dream knight with shining armor, finally came and saved him from the evil dragon that chases him and wants to kill him by spitting fire.

But as he grows up, he's wide awake. It took him a while but he has learned his lessons. He needs to accept the reality of life that does not match his dreams. That's why he stops hoping for more.

His hope was gone.

The bitterness and hardships of life always have a cruel and vicious way of killing all of his hopes and dreams. All of this time, he wasn't living. He was barely surviving in his harsh reality.

Taehyung was young and inexperienced. And for such a long time, he did not dare to hope that much. It felt like his dreams were so far away from where he stood.

His hopes were dashed. It's all dead, destroyed, vanished and banished, drowning in all of the sorrow and misery that corrupted his body and soul, making his heart shattered.

He was defeated by life. He was destroyed and crushed to the bone.

Taehyung felt so powerless.

The brunette does not desire grandiose things such as glory, notoriety, fame, tons of money or living every day in excessive luxury that is continuously abundant.

However, a little help won't hurt him, right?

Because he's so tired and sick of struggling. His poor, little, purple heart can no longer take any heart-shattered sorrow or gut-wrenched suffering anymore.

Please, Gods and Goddesses. He just wanted neverending welfare and prosperity for him and his family; for all beings.

The poor young omega just wanted to live well with peace of mind.

He didn't want to be that naive. But with Jungkook, he wants to believe that from now on, anything is possible for him. He wants to believe the sky's the limit for his every wish and sweet dreams.

Right now, Taehyung just wants to live a healthy and wealthy life.

Being raised in a poor family, he wants to get out of poverty and deprivation that have been holding him back for years. All this time, life was so hard and cruel. And time was so remorseless to him lately.
