⭐ 07 Fortnight ⭐

Jungkook cheerfully got out of the cab with a bouquet of fresh and beautiful red roses in his hand. A gentle breeze hit his face, making his black, shoulder-length hair a little messy.

The streets are quite noisy with the sound of horns and the roar of engines from various vehicles passing by. The alpha's handsome face was beaming with joy and happiness as he carefully crossed the road which seemed busy that afternoon, right after giving the taxi driver more tips for taking him to the hospital.

It's been two weeks since Taehyung's bullying incident. And during that fortnight, the omega experienced a very significant, if not great, life change.

Over the next few days after the occurrence, Taehyung's injuries were treated well at the Jeon family's hospital. Every day Jungkook always accompanies him to the point he stays there everyday. Going home was just a waste of time considering he didn't want to be away from his mate for even a second.

Not that the brunette minds it, Taehyung feels the alpha's energy made him glow up and blush hard. Everytime they're close together, it's like a surge of excitement rushing through his heart. It was so brisk, exhilarating, heartwarming and liberating.

And today is a special day because Taehyung was allowed to go home by doctor Seokjin. His health is getting better and his wounds have already recovered quickly. It is certain that Jungkook's pheromones have helped the omega's recovery and healing process go faster than ever.

Jungkook was more than happy to hear the good news, especially considering that he had arranged everything so that his Omega could come home with him. The raven-head Alpha would never let Taehyung go back to the dorm, let alone live there again by himself and all. There's no way he lets that happen, because Jungkook will take the brunette home.

So he told the butler at home to make one of the bedrooms more lovely and comfortable for his beloved omega. Things being set straight. Everything had been arranged and prepared very well for his Taehyung.

Jungkook had been home on purpose this morning. He's already checked and made sure everything was in order. After everything's done, the alpha then goes back to the hospital. He surely stopped by the flower shop on the corner of town to buy red roses and here he was, happily entering the elevator and going up to the floors above, ready to pick up his lover and bring the omega home with him.

So far, everything has been going smoothly. He and Taehyung are getting to know each other better. Several things have happened in the past two weeks.

Progress continues. Although a revolution has not been initiated since the best solution is still being negotiated, the existing peace has been maintained. And that in itself is a great accomplishment in their community.

And although Taehyung was malnourished due to poverty and deprivation before, that was over. Jungkook had stepped up to improve the situation. And his omega was now in better health. He had recovered and constantly improved. The brunette was restored and healed, thank Moon Goddess.

Despite the major problem (those bullies), everything is really fine between him and Taehyung. Forget about their differences in rank, or the fact that they both come from different packs.

Regardless of everything, Jungkook thinks he and Taehyung have a lot in common. He feels that the omega can complement him. Even though their socio-economic statuses are different, the brilliant omega is able to keep up with him as a future leader. The alpha feels that the brunette is his compatible counterpart, that they are a match in heaven, and that the gorgeous Taetae is his forever home.

Taetae.

Jungkook smiled and closed his eyes for a moment. His chest felt like it was going to explode with happiness. He was so very happy. Taehyung always made him in this endless euphoria and ecstatic bliss, he doesn't even know why.

All that he knows is that he absolutely loves to show his genuine affection and commitment by spoiling Taehyung all the time. For the alpha, it is his privilege to be able to show his love to the brunette, to spoil his beloved mate and give him the princess treatment that he deserves.

The raven-head alpha bit his lower lips as he inhaled and exhaled in contentment. He couldn't help but smile as he lowered his head and recalled the conversation he had with his omega a few nights ago.

Flash back to a week earlier, the raven-head alpha even painted Taehyung's portrait. He purposely brought his painting tools and equipment to the hospital.

On the white canvas, Jungkook painted his gorgeous brunette smiling, looking at the beautiful night sky filled with moonshine and sparkling stars. With oil paint, the alpha painted Taehyung in the most artistic and exquisite way.

In the painting, Taehyung's wavy brown hair looked a little messy because it was blown by the gentle wind that blew around him. They agreed to put the painting on their bedroom wall at home.

He could still hear the brunette gleaming and giggling in his head. At that time, his lover looked incredibly content and happy.

"Never in my life has someone painted me. You are very talented, Alpha. Thank you so much!" Taehyung beamed with his high-pitched voice as he pecked the alpha's cheek.

And yes, they're together now. The two are officially a couple.

Jungkook just wants to make Taehyung happy. Every fiber of his being just wants to make him happy. He will do whatever it takes to make sure Taehyung is okay. This young man will do anything and everything for his cutie pie Taetae. The alpha will take whatever it takes to take good care of his precious Omega.

Then Jungkook's memory shifted to one of their previous conversations. A few nights ago, the omega felt so bored staying in his room. Watching TV and reading some books couldn't longer dispel his boredom anymore.

So the young alpha swiftly took him for a walk in the flower garden located in the middle of the hospital. The alpha didn't mind pushing the wheelchair considering that Taehyung was still recovering. Jungkook didn't want his omega to be too tired or something after all.

As he took a deep breath, the raven-head alpha bit his lower lips. He couldn't help but grin as he remembered the conversation he had with Taehyung...

Flash back to a few nights ago.

It was already night and the two of them were just sitting together on the bench in the hospital's flower garden. The night is still young yet it did not sound so quiet, thanks to the sounds of crickets, owls and crows that were heard alternately.

The gurgling of the fountain near them sounded like pink noise which made the atmosphere even more calming and peaceful. From a distance, Taehyung could still hear the roar of cars and horns that occasionally passed by on the highway.

"I always love this pretty garden," The omega beamed.

"Really?"

"Yea. This place was like a magical Moon Garden full of night-blooming flowers and silver foliage. And the atmosphere reminds me of my parent's house and my hometown," Taehyung gleamed.

"Interesting," Jungkook smiled peacefully.

"Uh-huh," Taehyung nodded, "And by the way, I noticed there are so many kinds of flowers here and they only bloom at night. This pretty garden seems like it never sleeps," He grinned, "I wish I could create a moon garden full of moonflowers and other night-blooming flowers in my dream house, someday."

"Noted. I will keep you company. Gonna be a genie in a bottle and make your wish come true. Your wish is my command," The alpha said as they both chuckled and Taehyung blushed, mumbling a soft 'Thank you'.

"Hey, I didn't know you liked flowers that much, Taehyung."

"Well, Sir, I'm Omega after all," They both chuckled, "Moon garden gave me peace. I would love to bathe in the moonlight in my own moon garden full of moonflowers. I envisioned doing that more often in the future. Doctor Jin Hyung had encouraged me to do it regularly anyway. He said it would be good for my health," Taehyung shrugged.

"Then I'll make sure you do it every night at home, our home," Jungkook assured the omega, making Taehyung's heart flutter as his cheeks were flaming.

"Well then I'll be delighted to hang out in your moon garden at home with you," The omega bashfully encountered.

"What's with these moon gardens and moonflowers? Why do you even love them that much, Tae? Just curious."
