Demon slayer yandere

Part 14

The next morning i woke up at the crack of dawn and got ready for my mission. i put on my demon slayer uniform and then ontop of it i placed my black weighted shawl around me and tied my daggers around my waist like a balt and but my hatchet into its sheathe on my lower back. i walked out of the bathroom once i was done changing and instead of just seeing the morning sunrise i got a eyeful of a half shirtless tanjiro. i scratched my heead nervously debating whether or not i should say hi since in this time period its very shameful or something like that for the man so instead i just shut my eyes "hi tanjiro you ready for your first mission?". 

i could hear tha tanjiro flinched and dropped something steel like either his belt or sword. "y-yeah i was just putting on my shirt but im glad i ran into you before you left because you look so pretty- I MEAN PREPARED" i laughed at tanjiro for a moment and then gave him a strong hug once he had his shirt back on. i felt tanjiro's arms wrap around my back as i nuzzled my face into his shoulder "...it kinda sucks having our first missions seperate, for some reason yourscent always calms me down" tanjiro started to hug me tighter. "but its probably because youve been so comforting to me almost like a family" i squeezed him tighter one last time before i let go and gave the same type of hug to sensei before i made it out to the door "tanjiro once your done with your mission ill meet you in asakusa tokyo and you better treat me to a bowl of fried rice and some bamboo waffles!" i walked out of the door as tanjiro had agreed to my plan and we both started to head our seperate ways. haah i really hope i dont get stuck paired with someone like if its someone nice yay but i swear if its genya im going to loose my-

"the hell you doing here brat!" 

......just my goddamn luck. 

"im here for a mission idiot why did they send someone with intense anger issues like you over here?" i saw his face tint red with anger as i rolled my eyes. after a couple more minutes of running and arguing we finally made it to the town in the dead of night. it was so quiet here no swaying of signs the wind was barely a small breeze. something.....something is very off here.

"listen genya i know youhave much better things to do but i need you to stay as still as possible and slwo down your heartrate so i dont mess up with inding the demons" genya glared at me for a long time until he flopped down onto the floor ressing his back up on a tree and slowed down the rate of his heart. hmmm so anger issues can listen...

i pulled out my daggers and laid them on the ground feeling out if i could sense any heartbeats throughout the village. 1,4,6,8,,11...10?!

my ears twitched as one of the heartbeats went completely still for a moment until it started to speed up like crazy but it wasn't above ground....it was below. i grabbed genya's arm startling him as i used my second form "koku" all sound left my ears as i only heard the intensely beating heartbeat and i stopped when we got so close that it was practically drilling my ears. i looked down to see a black hole that felt like water. i pinched my arm pulling me out of that form as i heard genya asking, well more like yelling t me to tell him whats going on. "the demon just stole another person, there still alive because i can hear there heart beat but we have to go into that hole to get them out " genya grunted as he started to strip and i looked at him bored "this isint a strip club what the hell are you doing" genya rolled his eyes at my comment as he pulled me into the water with his and we swam deeper into the water. 

i probably should have told him i cant hold my breath for super long better get this done quick. we looked around the water searching for the heartbeat until i finally felt the connection again while pulling genya in that direction. we saw the demon who was bout to feast on the human so while the demon was super focused a spungenya around gaining momentum and lunched him towards the human. he grabbed the human swiftly and flew out of a puddle making it back up to the surface. the demon was about to go after genya until i threw my dagges at it cutting only a small part of there flesh but enugh to get there attention, i swam back up to the puddle as fast as i could and i crawled out of there in enough time avoiding the swing from the demons claws that would have cut off my leg.

i stood up quickly and aimed my hatchet at there arm to distract them while genya used his gun and shot a bullet straight through there neck killing them in the process. i pulled the demons body and checked there robe for any items and unfortunately there were exactly 17 accecories in it meaning that 17 lives were taken and out of them we were only able to save one. i crushed the demons disintagrating head as i walked back over to genya and the man who was just now starting to wake up. "you have been saved by two members of the demon slayer corp....the men who were kidnapped have all perished besides you" i got on my knees in front of the man bowing my head "im sorry that we didnt get here earlier to save more people its my fault" everything was quiet until the man broke down in tears and hugged me and genya thanking us for saving his life and killing the one who took away his friends. i think i even saw a small tear slip from genyas eyes but he wiped it away too quick for me to be sure.

(after a having our first mission together me and genya sort of got along better i mean at least we called eachother by our names sometimes but now he calls me the seller since ive been bribing him with demon meat that taste good instead of bad.)

2 days later after staying in the town getting showered with gifts for saving the people in the village we headed out to complete our new missions where genya was needed closer to demon corps and i was needed in asakusa tokyo. we even fist bumped ackowleding eahother it felt like i just made friends with my enemy it felt nice. now onto seeing my faviorite people here the kamado siblings and unfortunately my most unfavoured person....muzan kibutsuji.
