Part 17

ignore the part in the last chapter where it says kinda laid down on yushiro's lap and we're gonna start this chapter off after kina drags yahaba and nezuko inside to tamayo and yushiro with tanjiro by her side)

I walked inside of the house with Tanjiro next to me as I let go of the two people in my chains. Nezuko grabbed me and Tanjiro and hugged us tightly much to yahaba's dislike. "i missed you too nezuko, you fought really hard even after your leg was blown off....YOUR LEG" i looked down quickly at nezuko but only saw a normal looking leg where it should be. I looked back up at Tanjiro confused as he mouthed the words 'regeneration' and I nodded in understanding as Nezuko let go of the both of us and went to hug Tamayo and patted yushiro's head. Tamayo spoke worriedly"I wonder if she's alright, she has been very friendly with us ever since she woke back up" I smiled as tanjiro responded "she probably thinks of you two as family now" "but I thought you said she only perceives humans as family? me and yushiro are both demons" i finally joined in on the conversation again "well to nezuko you two are just as human as anyone to her" tanjiro nodded and finished my sentence "she wanted to protect you guys".

We both saw as tamayo's eyes widened but tanjiro continued on. "you know i didn't like the spell on her at first but it seems she still has her own will so-" i put a hand over tanjiro's mouth to stop him from talking when we saw tears coming from ms.tamayo's eyes as she hugged nezuko back tightly repeatedly saying thank you until she had gotten her emotions back in check as nezuko stepped away so we could figure out what to do now. "We must leave this home, I have concealed myself well but I've treated many people and I'm sure one of them has figured out I'm a demon so it's not safe here, and if you need us to, would you like us to take nezuko with us?"

 my mouth gaped open for a second but i started to snicker quietly as i saw yushiro shaking his head no to the idea entirely. i peeked at tanjiro seeing the cross look on his face trying to figure out what to do but snapped out of it when i walked in front of the siblings and connected their hands together and started tanjiro in the eyes until he smiled at me and nodded giving me the signal to let him speak. "Thank you for your concern but we're all going to stick together. nothing is going to break us apart ever again" the way tanjiro almost makes me sick, i wish i could hold my older sister's hand again but thats what im fighting for in the end ,so it's not too long. i looked at yahaba and patted his shoulder and asked tamayo a question "do you think yushiro could put a concealment spell on him so he can travel with us without being detected by anyone"? Tamayo nodded as yushiro slapped a paper onto the boy's hand hard as his lady put a hand over her chest lightly "in that case i wish you all good fortune on your late battles' ' tanjiro bowed as i nodded and nezuko just stood there. "Alright goodbye I have to take off the spell on this place so hurry out" i rolled my eyes at yushiro's stubbornness to be nice to others but started to turn around and walk to the door as yushiro yelled out to tanjiro making him stop. "Your little sister...is beautiful" Tanjiro smiled as we all exited the house and soon left the city.

my hawk and tanjiro's crow yelled "SOUTH, SOUTH EAST""repeatedly until i picked up a mouse off the floor and threw it far away scaring the crow and hawk and everyone was quiet- "PLEASE MARRY ME!"...I spoke too soon. We looked over to see a boy in a faded yellow haori with triangles on it holding onto a girl's arms who looked terrified. "PLEASE MARRY ME, I COULD DIE ANY DAY" the boy shook her arms again scooting closer to her pissing me off even more so i jumped off the trail and grabbed the kid by his neck yanking him off of her, throwing him into tanjiro letting him take care of the boy as i helped the girl. I grabbed her hands softly and patted her clothes, smoothing out the wrinkles as she was still shocked. "i'm sorry about that whole situation. We'll take good care of him if you know what i mean"

i clenched my fist as she smiled fearfully and walked away. i turned back to tanjiro who had just finished chewing him out and as i passed tanjiro patting his shoulder i whispered into his ear "you might want to cover your ears and eyes for this" i rolled up my sleeves and punched the guy mutiple times while talking "GUYS LIKE YOU MAKE WOMEN NOT WANT TO GO OUTSIDE, YOUR THE PROBLEM,DO BETTER, MAYBE IF YOU PULLED YOURSELF THE FUCK TOGETHER YOU WOULDNT BE SINGLE AND GROW A FUCKING SPINE GOD DAMNIT" i shook him multiple times as he kept saying yes to try and stop me from hitting him. once i was done with him and was standing up straight the boy turned to tanjiro and said he has to be responsible for them not getting married. we looked at him with disgust evident in our faces. "don't look at me ike that its true!" i stared at him irritated "she was already engaged idiot she HAS A RING ON HER RING FINGER AND IT CERTAINLY WASN'T FROM YOU" he started crying even harder "STILL THIS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU WHY DID YOU GET IN MY WAY!" the disgust rolled harder into my face the more he spoke.

"listen im gonna die soon! and I don't want to be alone because I'm very weak!" he crawled up to us and grabbed onto our sleeves tightly "you guys have to protect me until i get married okay!" I just stared astounded that he had the audacity to even ask that of us..maybe I should hit him just one more time. i think tanjiro felt what i was about to do so he introduced to both of us to him "first off my name is tanjiro kamado and theres is kina kamado" i stared at him confused as he only looked back to me and winked as i still stood there confused not understanding and was thinking hard about it making myself zone out until it hit. He said that so zenitsu wouldn't try to hit on me by saying we both have the same last names implying were married! smart dude smart. (kina in fact was very wrong by a landslide).

tanjiro's pov

me and kina were having a nice morning walk until our pests-birds had ruined the peace and as soon as my smart soon to be wife got the quiet back a larger pest gained her attention. I watched kina as all the attention was on the boy hoping it would be on me. kill him, make her need me to keep her safe? not too obvious, too smart for that. no he can't have her attention give it to me! i saw kinas fist clench telling me she was going to either kill him or help her kill him later. i ran up to them with her catching the boy she threw at me as the perfect idea flashed through my head. befriend him, be close and as soon as she's not looking at him...kill. i smiled at the boy after chewing him out when i introduced our names ''my name is tanjiro kamado and there kina kamado" i looked to kina who was already looking at me confused and all i did was wink to throw her off and make her mind spiral until she finds and solution that doesn't mean i like her. She does that no matter what I make on her as long as its not kissing while she's conscious...so this should be good. kina started to spiral into her brain as i listened to this wimps sob story about getting swindled. while we were walking and had made it to our next mission area kina came and tapped my shoulder "thanks for lying to him that we were married so he didn't try and hit on me now we just need to keep the acting up" i smiled to her but soon looked at the beads in her hair "you know you still look pretty if you let your hair down here let me.." i reached to her hair but as soon as my fingertip slightly touched a bead she ran up into a tree as the branches covered her. yahabas doing but why did she react so strongly?

kinas pov

Tanjiro reached for my beads but as muzans words popped through my head. 'whoever takes these beads off if it is not you im sending akaza after you and them and make you watch as he kills them and brings you to me' i jumped back into a tree like a scared cat startling zenitsu and leaving tanjiro frozen in place as yahaba used his powers to make the tree branches cover me. Before anyone could ask anything the house rotated from the inside and a body was flung out next to two kids who were looking for their older brother who accidentally went inside.

we all looked at each other simultaneously nodding thinking that we all were going in but zenitsu grabbed onto tanjiro's box that was next to the children. "ill stay outside to stay safe-i mean protect them!" we both looked at him not buying it but as soon as both me and tanjiro glared at him for a long time he came in with us.

(I'M FINALLY THROUGH THE OTHER ARC NOW I JUST NEED TO HURRY AND REACH THE ARC WITH SPIDER BOY)

lil insights: tanjiro is becoming more obsessive with the idea that kina is going to marry him and has been herding her away from other men. zenitsu knows not to hit on a married woman but its getting hard for him not too when certain things they do dont seem like intimate things. inosuke hasn't joined in yet but obviously its gonna happen next chapter )
