Part 22

As soon as I stepped into the forest it was as if cold water was dunked on me. There were freaking spiders everywhere. I held my knifes close to my chest and made sure that my hatchet was locked right in my case as I tiptoed into the forest avoiding every type of spider be it small and have no bite to large with the most venom in the world, although that slowed me down a lot but it was as if the spiders were being controlled because they didn't go in front of Tanjiro or inosuke but they did go in front of my and steered me away from them. "Okay little venom demons I very much don't know what the hell your doing but I'm not tasty at all matter of fact i-"
I heard something shoot out quickly in my direction as I jumped up above it landing on the object. I looked down to see it was a...web? "Well never would I have expected a human to actually avoid killing something that was just surviving" I looked up to find the owner of the voice but it was too dark. "brother i shall take care of her-"the second voice was cut off by the first one "you have already failed me once"a slicing sound was heard and a yell followed right after.I stumbled on the web slightly and tried regaining my balance "if this is some weird step sibling bullshit I'll be heading out of here" I jumped off of the string not caring where my back was facing since I didn't even know where the person- well demon was till even more webs shot out.

I slashed them all in half with my knifes, getting rid of most of the till a full web fell down from the sky trapping me in it as I was still trying to cut it until a hand shot out and grabbed my blades from me giving themselves a small paper cut. I looked up to the demon who was now standing to the side of me and the one who was slightly father back . White hair with red markings on their face and a number with Japanese symbols in his eyes. It would be so helpful if I could read Japanese instead of only remembering what was said in the show. "The hell are you doing, afraid to fight me like a woman" I glared at him hoping for some sort of reaction but all I got was a smile that I couldn't tell if it was joy or irritation. he shook his head slowly and walked around me like a predator stalking its prey. "family, what does it mean to you" I looked at him confused "you want a genuine one or the one that won't get me killed?" he glared at me as i looked away from him trying to stall more time for tanjiro "there hard to get" the demon know as rui crouched down to my face and pinched my cheeks with a satisfied look "exactly. we are only creatures doing what we have to for family even when the family is being...incompetent". I twitched as I heard the voice switch in the boys body.

"hi my 'pet', you've been doing oh so well and if I'm being honest, I don't like it" I tugged harder on the web trying to escape before anything I would regret happened but the webs steeled making my legs get medium sized cuts till the softened again. "I don't like my toys in good condition, there better broken, it's easier to see what strings to pull to get everything thing working again and to make something normal, perfect you need to pull a couple... strings" Rui's webs had tangled around something or more like someone hiding in the trees but it didn't process in my head until I heard a familiar voice screaming as droplets of blood coated the strings as the person wrapped inside of the cocoon with only there head poking out was brought down close enough to me to recognize the face. "Muzan let go of my him, I swear to god I'll hunt you down myself and kill you, DONT FUCKING TOUCH MY BROTHER" I was able to pull my arm from the webs and tried grabbing the demon but he tightened his webs making Yahaba cry out halting my movements. He laughed with real joy in his voice "you sadistic fuck" he patted my head and there wasn't a damned thing I could do about it. "only for you" Rui stood over me and slid his hand down my wrist to my free arm and lifted it to his mouth as he sniffed it. "Fucking perv-" before I could even finish my sentence he had sunk his teeth into my arm drinking blood from me. I gritted my teeth to stop myself from yelling but a scream still wanted to jump from me the longer his teeth were in me. "T-thought you guys were-mphm- demons not vamps"
"GET AWAY FROM HER" I heard Yahaba yelling and it helped to distract me from the pain "SHE HAS DONE NOTHING TO DESERVE THIS, YOU ARE SCUM WHO DOES NOT VALUE LIFE-" Muzan snapped his body to him as a silver thread slowly coiled around his neck. "I'm the one who values life more than any of you, IVE LIVED ALL OF MY LIFE SUFFERING WHILE YOU COULDT EVEN LAST TILL ADULTHOOD YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO-" "-water wheel!"a sword flew through the air stabbing through the webs holding me as I dropped to the floor, grabbing the sword and immediately pulled out my hatchet, sprinting to Yahaba and cut him out of the cocoon. he grabbed me hastily and jumped off into a tree putting the cloak spell on again. Rui's voice went back to normal letting me know muzan was gone. I waited worried if he would smell the blood until tanjiro had jumped up onto the branch I was on and took his sword out of my hands and he hugged me tightly "I'm so sorry I was late I didn't know you were-" he stopped speaking and sniffed the air for a while till he grabbed my wrist tightly bringing it up to himself as he glared at the blood seeping from the wound making me hiss in pain. "When we get out of here we're going to have a nice 'talk' alright" I could hear the anger in his voice as he let go of my arm when we sensed the demon looking at us.

silence radiated all through the forest neither me or tanjiro moved a muscle until finally rui's sister took a step forward letting all hell break loose. we jumped off the branch onto different sides on the floor dodging the webs that were flailing in the wind while closing in the distance. i sliced my hatchet across the female demons torso making a large gash as she jumped back but she wasnt quick enough to avoid the range of my attack "third form distortion" everyone's attacks had faltered and became sloppy except for mine as i cleanly sliced off the girls head and picked the head up by the hair tossing it over to rui "touch my older brother again and see what the hell happens" rui stopped fighting tanjiro and neuko bringing his focus to me. good ill buy them some time to heal- wait what is that sound its so...loud! where, where, where is it! by the time i had realized it was from underground it was too late....well thats what i thought. i heard slicing all around me but nothing injured me so much so where i would immediately die, in fact the largest cut i got was a long cut across my back, but if it didnt hit me...who did it hit.

i opened my eyes horrified at what i was seeing yahaba's...no my brothers blood was splattered everywhere on my clothes and his body was torn to shreds and his head was laying on the floor right at my feet as his body was already slowly disintegrating. i shakily grabbed his head while my body wasn't able to fully react to what has occurred. "brother....this is a nightmare right, all of this is fake and when i wake up we'll all be back in the bathhouse eating food right" yahaba opened his eyes and stared at me with sullen eyes as his body stumbled to get up as it hugged me tightly "this isint a dream, i wish it was, but just listen to me promise me that you will protect yourself" he rubbed his hand over my back as if he was soothing a toddler "and don't forget me okay, ill always be your number one big brother! and don't...don't forget to dig me a grave, i love you, even if it was a short time it was the most precious part of my life okay...." his body disintegrated first and i knew our time was coming to an end but no matter how many times, my voice just wouldnt come out until finally his whole body was gone and all that was left were his clothes and ashes floating into the night sky.

"...." i slowly got up as i looked ahead of me to see nezuko tied up in a web as tanjiro looked like he was on his last leg and was trying to speak to me, but i didnt care. my vision tunneled as a bundle of threads slashed at my shoulder making me falter but never stop. He faltered for a moment but then once again, he aimed for my neck and sliced a small chunk of it off but this pain was no where near the pain i felt from watching him die. "more....give me more...make me feel it" i knicked my leg with my hatchet "ninth form hokaku sa rete" the pain fled away from my body but it didnt help me at all. rui took a step back nervously but pulled himself back together "once you are done with your tantrum, ill take you with me and you'll have a real family! doesnt that sound amazing, no more having to deal with that fake one who was embarrassingly weak" my walking turned into running as i used form after form using whatever it took to get near him until i was able to set up a real plan "third form distortion!" i aimed most of the blast to rui as well as possible throwing him off of his balance as tanjiro and nezuko used there flame breathing to sever his head from above and the right as i sliced through the demons gut mumbling my last form "seventh form bane" i heard rui scream out as he kicked me away into a tree as his head went flying and tanjiro passed out on the ground. i dont know how much time passed until giyuu popped up and fully killed the demon, giving me peace to shut my eyes for now.

and that is how the 4 demon slayers had killed there first upper moon.

(THIS WAS A LOT there was so much to rewrite bcause i forgot that the dude literally has a family complex and i didnt know if i should do a pov switch but tell me if yall like dis :) )
