Part 20

Before we were even able to fully start descending, Tanjiro somehow made inosuke carry me on his back until we reached a building that was titled wisteria. my hawk landed onto my shoulder while it spoke. "it's time to rest, you've all had a tough time so rest now" my hawk flew off after i scratched its head and the doors opened revealing an old lady. "yes?" zenitsu hid behind me and inosuke while he moved my whole body onto one of his arms and i felt himself tilt so i jumped out and stood next to tanjiro. "sorry we don't mean to bother you this late.." inosuke started poking her large bun while she spoke "i presume you all are demon slayers, if so please come in" the little lady led us inside and down a pathway while i was still close to his side in case my ankle failed me.

time skip

"Here is a change of clothes and a warm meal to fill you up, and for the lady we have a separate room for you to rest in" she pointed to my room that was across from there while I stared at the dark room compared to the bright room uncomfortably. We all went our separate ways to wash up while I took a relaxing bath with my brother rewrapping the wound with a blindfold over both sets of his eyes to help make me comfortable. "does the water feel nice?" "yeah it's the perfect temperature, even the night and air surprisingly my companions too, it's just not...." My brother grabbed my towel off the rack and threw it to my hands as he stepped into a corner. "it's not 'your' perfect right" i got out of the tub drying myself off then putting on oil and lotion, putting on my robe. "yeah...maybe someday it will feel like 'my' type of normal but till then i think i'm happy with them" yahaba turned to face me and patted my head "alright squirt that's good enough for me, let's go eat" we walked out of the bathhouse and into my room. "okay you can come as well as long as you stay hidden" he rolled his eyes crossing his arms as he disappeared as i walked into the room where 4 plates were set up for me, tanjiro, zenitsu and inosuke. when i walked inside of the room my friends were already sitting down but they hadn't eaten yet- well except for inosuke. i sat down on the mat and stared at zenitsu questioningly, he smiled to me and put an extra tempura on my plate while blushing "we were waiting for you, didn't want to start without the whole group" my brain stopped working for a second until i just smiled back and ate my food quietly trying to ignore the loud chomping coming from inosuke and it was easy to do so until he tried to reach for one of my tempura.

time skip 5 mins later)

inosuke jumped in the middle bed with a bloody nose and a bruised eye. "i'm taking the middle bed" he started patting the bed triumphantly trying to anger tanjiro but he just waved his hand nonchalantly pissing off inosuke. "which one do you want zenitsu?" inosuke started growling until he finally burst and threw a pillow at Zenitsu's face even though he didn't do anything wrong. The door was opened and standing there was an old lady and a man with a large bag, who I'm guessing is a doctor. "this here is our doctor" yup i was right "alrighty time to check how you all are '' we all sat down with me stuck in between inosuke and tanjiro. they all popped open their shirts revealing there shirts and i just sat there stuck and confused but when it was my turn before they could say anything fast enough i started opening my robe slightly so the chest could be checked tanjiro immediately reached for his sword, zenitsu scrambled to get up and inosuke just sat there looking at them just as confused as i was. "the hell is wrong with you, i wouldn't just strip down but ass naked in front of yall...do you think i'm a HOE?" "NO NEVER" both tanjiro and zenitsu answered at the same time while the doctor finished checking on me and then moved to inosuke. he soon finished up and with a smile on his face,he told us that it was really bad.

In the end they just had us all sleep in the same room so if anything happened we would all be together. "who would've thought...we all have broken ribs" zenitsu on my left had 2, me with 2 1/2, tanjiro with 3 and inosuke with 4. "this bump though hurts a lot more" tanjiro had a sad look on his face but i swear for a second it was a smirk but maybe i was just seeing things ''sorry" "hey where's my apology, you beat the crap out of me" "me too, you literally yanked my body off the floor the only time my stomach was relaxed, i did NOT have these broken ribs till you grabbed me thankfully i get a cool scar on my leg" inosuke smiled sadistically while tanjiro looked down bashfully and zenitsu was still annoyed. what the hell...those are not the right expressions those two should be having. "are you sorry" "not really"....."JUST APOLOGIZE" "forget it" "be nice!"

..."yknow we'll stop eating with you if you act like that" inosuke looked over to us confused "the hells that got to do with anything" the conversation started to get boring so i fell asleep but when i woke up i kept my eyes shut to listen in on there conversation. "tanjiro...why are you and kina traveling with two demons'' the room got deadly silent "zenitsu...you knew but you still protected them, you truly are amazing" i heard him start rolling around in his bed "aww you don't have to throw out compliments like that" "i have a keen sense of smell, that's how i knew you were a kind and strong person" once again it fell silent " i'm not that strong, that's why i tried to bring the kid but you guys stopped me" "i uh-well that" all of a sudden nezuko started rustling in her box. zenitsu started freaking out and ran around the room until nezuko finally came out and he shut up. "this is my younger sister, nezuko meet zenitsu-" "are you serious...you've been traveling with two cuties this whole time" oh lord "men like you should be erased, i did not get pummeled by a CRAZY BOAR for your love life-!" everything in the room seemed to stop as i shot my eyes open looking at zenitsu who had blanket wrapped around his mouth by yahaba who had come out of the shadows "bro, why are you-" "IF YOU DO NOT STOP YELLING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, I SWEAR I'LL GO BACK TO A LIVE HUMAN DIET AND YOUR FIRST ON THE THE MENU" that seemed to shut him up for a while until my brother sat down next to me closing his eyes and zenitsu started yelling again chasing tanjiro with his sword " MOCK THE DEMON SLAYER CORPS AND YOU'LL GET SENT STRAIGHT TO HELL" yahaba shot all of his eyes open sending blankets to tackle the three of them "SHUT THE HELL UP" and twas the end of a peaceful night.
