Now it's the next day and a new start, Sydney's Parents are coming today from Georgia, so it will be nice to see them. " So Love, here's the agenda for the next few days," Sydney said as she handed me the upcoming days' schedule. the wedding is in 3 days, the rehearsal and dinner are in 2 days, and tomorrow is the girl's spa day, Today Parents are coming. " In three days I'll be Mrs. Sydney McPherson, I can't believe it," Sydney said. "I'm so happy for you, Sydney," I said. " Hey, Angel, Im going to go get our parents from the airport, mine flew in today as well," Evan said. " I'll come with you, Y/N we'll be right back," Sydney said. " Ok, Don't worry," I said. Then the soon-to-be newlyweds left to get their parents and future in-laws. I went to the kitchen to get something to eat. Not long after Joe walked it, he looked like he just showered because his hair still looked damp. Oh gosh its just him and I alone, just be yourself, wait why the heck am I getting so nervous for. As I started making my food, Joe asked me this," So, how do you like working in the NFL," " It's great, Im gladly I get to work with such an amazing franchise, like the Los Angeles Rams," I said. " Especially now, I've developed good friendships over the years, My closest is with Sean McVay over time he became like my older brother," I said. " That's great that you have that, Im happy for you, Y/N," Joe said. " I personally feel the same with the Bengals, even though I haven't been with them very long, Im still grateful for it," Joe said. Then I remembered his ACL injury, " How is your recovery going," I suddenly asked. Joe was caught off guard with my question but then said," Its going great, when training starts I'll be able to participate in it, to get be back in routine," " Do you think you be able to play at the start of the regular season," I asked. " I think so, probably not preseason games, but I think for regular I'll be able to play," I said. by that time I was done with making my breakfast. " I admire you, Joe, I think you have a great deal of determination, and confidence, but you don't let it get to you, where you start to get cocky," I said. " thank you, Y/N, its just how I try to be as a player, I don't want people think that I just this cocky quarterback that has all these achievements and everything," Joe said. " Yeah, I mean you have these achievements because of the work you put into all these years and you. deserve it, you earned the national championship with LSU, and you earned the Heisman trophy, and you definitely earned your spot in the NFL as a starting Quarterback, its ok to be proud of who you are, and what your achievements are, and to people who call you cocky, they don't know a thing," I said. Joe was stunned, and as was I, " Wow, that really means a lot, Y/N, thank you, I didn't even know I need to hear something like that but thank you," Joe said with an appreciative smile. " Im just telling the truth, Joe, you are a phenomenal football player, I think you are definitely going to go far, and make history," I said. " Can I give you a hug," Joe asked. " Sure," I said. then I felt Joe embrace me, I hugged him back. His hug felt safe, it felt right, I made me felt small but in a good way. Then we heard some Clear their throats. we broke the hug, and looked to see Sydney, Evan, Mr and Mrs. Alexander, and Mr and Mrs. McPherson. " Did we interrupt something," Sydney asked with a smirk. " Sydney, dear they were clearly have a moment," Mrs. Alexander said. " Its okay, guys, " I said. Then I went over to Sydney's parents," Monica, Steven, go to see you again," I said. Then I went over to Evan's parents, " its wonderful to see you again, Mr. and Mrs. McPherson," I said. " Its good to see you too, dear," Mrs. McPherson said. Then Evan and Sydney showed their parents where they were staying. then Sydney came over to me later, " So, what did we walk into," Sydney asked smiling like the cheshire cat. " We were just talking about the NFL, and earning our spot there, that's all," I said. " who hugged who first," she asked. " Joe hugged first, only because he asked for it," I said. " why did he ask for the hug," she said. " it had to do with something I told him, and he was being thankful for what I told him, which was the truth," I said. " I am too, He is a really good guy," I said as I smiled. " Y/N, would you give Joe a chance if you had the opportunity," Sydney asked. " Chance as in dating him," I asked.
