Today is the day, Super Bowl Sunday, we were so close a few years ago but now we have a chance to win again but knowing it's the Bengals that we are facing is the tough part. Im meeting up with the girls before the game. Im currently at the stadium, and I found Sasha, Avery, and Olivia. " Y/N, hey girl, how are you feeling," Avery asked. " All the emotions to be honest," I said. " I mean, also the fact that Matty and Joey are playing each other today, and after all this, I make the decision," I said. " oh, I get it after whoever wins and is chosen, you'll feel bad for the loser," Sasha said. " Like what if I don't choose Joe and he loses," I said. " That will be harder on him than on Matt," I said. " Well, Y/N, for right now, this game is your priority," Olivia said. " I know, and it's much more pressure since we are playing in our own stadium," I said. " You got this, girl," Avery said. After a while, it was time for me to head to the field. I first was greeted by Sean of course, " Hey, Mother to be," Sean said. " Sean that's not for a while," I said. " I know, I can't believe you are going to a mom," Sean said. " Congratulations," Sean said as he hugs me. " Thank you, Sean, I know this baby will love as its uncle," I said. " especially if it's a Baby Stafford," Sean said. Then speaking of Stafford, Cooper, and Matt came out on the field. " Hey Guys, are you ready for this," Sean asked. " I know Coop is, he didn't get to play in the last Super Bowl we were in," I said. " True, very true," Cooper asked. Matthew came over next to me, " How are you holding up, Darlin," Matthew asked. " Good, the nervousness is overwhelming though," I said. " You'll do great, Darlin," Matthew said as he kissed my forehead. " Thanks, Matty, you do great, you deserve this," I said. " Don't let Burrow see you two," Cooper said with a chuckle. " Shut up, Cooper," I said. Speaking of which, the Bengals came on the field. " Speaking of which," Matthew said. I went over to the Bengals side, " Hey, guys how is LA treating you," I said. " its nice," Ja'marr said. " Cant beat California weather this time of the year," I said. " Yeah you got lucky," Joe said. Evan came up to me, " Hey, Y/N, how are you feeling," Evan asked. " Good, I'm good, i'm sorry that we done talk much anymore," I said. " Its not your fault, What Sydney did was wrong, I for one, will be happy with whoever you are with," Evan said. " Aw, Ev, you are always such a sweetheart," I said. Then Joe and I went to the side to talk. " How ya feeling, Sunshine," Joe asked. " Nervous," I said. " I know we are on opposing side, but you'll do great," Joe said. " You will too," I said. Matthew then came over to us, " Look, I don't want to fight, Joe, I know you are a good player and I wanted to wish you good luck," Matthew said. " Thanks, Matthew, sorry if I came off as a jerk," Joe said. " its okay, Joe, we both love her so, we both were pretty protective," Matthew said. " I totally agree, Matthew," Joe said. " Alright we should get back to our side the game is gonna start soon," I said. I hugged Joe and Evan, and Matthew shook Joe's hand, then we went back to our side. now not long after the game was underway, Matthew and Cooper were playing good like always. We scored first with a touchdown. After a while it has been a back and forth, then came halftime which was legendary, for California kids like me. Then came more back and forth, and then it came to the 4th quarter. It was our ball, and Matt was sacked but something was wrong, he got up and limped to the sidelines. He got his ankle wrapped. I went over to him, " You okay, Matty," I asked. " Im fine, Darlin, don't worry, nothin to serious," Matt said. then Bengals were up, and Joe got sacked, but he looked in pain, I saw that he yelled in pain. I was scared now both Matthew and Joe had things happened. Sean came over to me, " Are you okay," Sean asked. " Just worried about Matt and Joe that's all," I said. " You really do love em, don't you," Sean asked. " I do, I really do," I said. It was now down to the wire, we were ahead by three, and the bengals had the ball but I had a feeling Aaron will do something as I thought Aaron made a huge sack play on Joe. The RAMS WON THE FREAKIN SUPERBOWL, as the last few seconds ran out, blue and yellow confetti started to fell. I ran to Matt and embraced him, " Matty, you did it, you are official a champion now," I said. " I wouldn't be here without you and Sean," Matthew said. " This win for you and our baby, Darlin," Matthew said. Out of nowhere, I suddenly kissed Matthew, it was the rush of the win. He kissed me back. We broke the kiss, and I went to hug Sean and Cooper. " Congratulations,Head Coach," I said. " you too, Assistant coach," Sean said. " Amazing job, Coop, im so proud of you," I said. Then Matthew, Sean, Coop, and I went to the bengals. I hugged Joe tightly, " Awesome effort today Joey, you gave it your best," I said. " She's right Joe, you should be proud of yourself, Son, going to your first Super Bowl in your first full health year, and I know you'll make back to a few," Matthew said. Matthew embraced Joe, " Thanks Matthew, you deserved it, you are an awesome quarterback," Joe said. After that was the trophy presentation and Cooper was named the Super bowl MVP, and after we went to an after party. Joe, Sam, Ja'marr, Tee, Sasha, Avery, and Olivia came. Clayton Kershaw and his wife, Ellen came up to us. " Amazing job, Matt, congrats," Clayton said. " We are both LA champions," Matthew said as he hugged Clayton. It was an amazing moment for the childhood duo. then Clayton hugged me, " Congratulations Y/n, you deserve it," Clayton said. " Thanks, Kersh," I said. we hung out for the rest of the day, and forget all about the current love triangle situation. I was glad Matthew and Joe were becoming friends.
Hey y'all, I know this is bittersweet to some people, Super Bowl 56 is no doubt my favorite super bowl. Being a fan of both the Rams and Bengals now, it was so happy to see the Rams win, and Matthew Stafford getting the ring that he deserved all these years. As a Bengals fan now, I know the bengals will make it back to the Super Bowl. Joe deserves to win a ring, his time will come. Im rooting for the Bengals to get a Super Bowl win.
