Chapter 4: Meeting Mr. Joe Burrow

Y/N's POV

We went inside the house, Sydney and Evan had a very nice house, not too big but it definitely wasn't small. " Hon, Y/N is here," Sydney called out. Then Evan came over to us, " Hey, it's my favorite Californian," Evan said as he hugged me. " Hey, Ev, good to see you again," I said as I laughed. " Joe, Ja'marr, Tee, Sam, come here," Evan called out. Then I saw Sam Hubbard, Tee Higgins, and Ja'marr Chase appear. " Hey you must be Y/N, Im Sam Hubbard, this is Tee Higgins, Ja'marr Chase," Sam said. " Yea, I'm Y/N, nice to meet you, guys," I said. " Y/N here works in NFL as an assistant coach for the Rams," Sydney said. " Oh wow, that's awesome," Ja'marr said. Then Joe Burrow came into the room, he was really tall, had blonde hair, and had these blue eyes that catches your attention immediately, not to mention good-looking. " Hey there guys are," Joe said. " Dude, I called for you," Evan said. Then Joe looked in my direction, " Oh, Joe, this is my beautiful best friend, Y/N, and Y/N this is the one and only Joe Burrow," Sydney said. " Hi, it's n-nice to meet you, Joe," I said. Oh god did just stutter, Keep it Together Y/N you literally just met him. Oh no, now I feel my cheeks heating up. "It's nice to meet you too, Y/N, I hear you work in the NFL with Rams," Joe said with a smile. Oh my lord, that smile is beautiful, no wonder girls like him so much. " Y-Yeah, I do, I'm the assistant coach, actually," I said. dang, it, I did again, I stutter, I gotta stop stuttering. "Oh really, that must be cool," Joe said. " yea it is," I said as I see Sydney smile at me. then Evan went off with the guys to another room. " I know you were gonna like him, I caught you stuttering and your face is a little red," Sydney said. " Are you trying to set up with him," I asked. " Maybe, I mean, if things don't work with Stafford, then," Sydney said. " plus, you'll have all the time in the world to get to know him while you are here for my wedding," Sydney said. " wait, does the maid of honor and the best man sometimes have a dance together," I asked. " yeah, they do, and that's what is going to happen with you two," Sydney said with a giggle.

Joe's POV

" So what do you think of her, Joey," Evan asked. " Of who, Y/N," I asked. " Yeah, her who else," Evan said. " well, Sydney wasn't lying, when said Y/N was beautiful," I said. " I think she starting to take a liking to you, Joe, did you notice she stuttered, and her face turned a little red when you smiled at her," Evan said. " Yeah, I did, and isn't she Sydney's maid of honor,"  I asked. " Yeah she is," Evan said. " You should definitely at least get to know her,  I think you guys will have a lot in common," Evan said. " Yeah, definitely," I said. Y/N definitely seems like she is a cool person. At least we both like or love football. I have feeling Evan and Sydney are going try to get us together but who knows.
