Chapter 7: The Wedding

Y/n's POV

Today is the big day when my best friend is going to be a married woman. Im so happy that she found Evan, I remember when they started dating, Sydney was so happy. Hopefully, I can find that happiness maybe It could be Matthew or Joe, who knows. We were currently getting ready, and Mrs.McPherson and Monica were there to help with Sydney. " You look so beautiful, Sydney, Evan is one lucky guy for sure," I said as I was getting my makeup done. " You will look just as beautiful, and then you will stun Joe, and he will be into you," Sydney said. " Woah,woah I don't know about all that," I said. " Y/N, Love, you deserve someone special, and Joe is a really good guy, I know you really like Matthew Stafford, but I think Joe could be a better choice," Sydney said. "It's too early to tell, Sydney," I said. then it was time for the actual wedding, I was a little nervous to walk out there, and see Joe, even though I don't know why.  First, the flower girl went out, then it was my turn before Sydney and her dad. I walked out and started down the aisle, my eyes went straight to Joe, who was smiling at me as we made eye contact. He was in a dark grey suit, which without a doubt he looked incredible. It kinda felt like I was the bride and I was marrying Joe. I reached my place, and I saw Joe mouth " You look really beautiful." I smiled and mouthed a thank you as well as he looked very handsome. Then came Sydney and her dad, he looked like a princess as she smiled at Evan. She got to the altar, " Who gives this woman to this man," The pastor said. " Her mom and I do," Sydney's dad said. " We are gathered today to witness the marriage of Evan McPherson and Sydney Nicole Alexander," the pastor said. " Evan, you may say your vows," The pastor said. " Sydney, you are my everything, and knowing you and being with you all these years has been the best thing that could've ever happened, I never thought I would marry the girl from my childhood, Seeing you again was one the greatest things a guy can ask for, I love you always and forever," Evan said. " Ok, now Sydney you may say your vows," the minister said. " Evan, I didn't even think it a million years that you and I would end up together, Im so proud of the man you have become, that you are following your dreams, and the fact that I get to be a part of this amazing journey is a dream,I am looking forward to our future and what it holds and has to offer, i love you," I said. Then the rings were brought, " do you Evan McPherson take Sydney Nicole Alexander to be your lawfully wedded wife as long you shall live in sickness and in health till death do you part," the minister asked. " I do," Evan said as he slid the ring onto Sydney's finger. " do you Sydney Nicole Alexander take Evan McPherson to be your lawfully wedded husband as long as you shall live in sickness and in health till death do you part," the minister asked. " I do," Sydney said as she slid the ring on Evan's finger. " now in the power invested in me, and in the city of Cincinnati and state of Ohio, I pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride," the minister said. Then Evan kissed Sydney, officially making them man and wife. " ladies and gentlemen, May i be the first to introduce for the very first time, Mr. and Mrs. McPherson," the minister said. Then the newlyweds went done the aisle. Then Joe and I linked arms followed as the Maid of Honor, and Best man. Now to head to the reception, where I am going to possibly dance with Joe. We all headed to the reception, Speeches from both sides where said, including one by me. " Alright, now it's time for our Bride and Groom to have their first dance," the DJ said. Evan and Sydney went in the middle of the dance floor, and danced to a slow song. They looked at each other with love. It was honestly so romantic and sweet to watch. Then after the dance Sydney went over to the mic and said " Now it's time for the Maid of Honor and the Best Man to dance,". I knew she was going to do that. Joe approached me with and held his hand out. " May I have this dance,Ms. L/N," Joe said. " You may, Mr. Burrow," I said as took his hand. He lead me to the dance floor, and the put hands on my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck. I stared up at him, into the those beautiful blue eyes. I felt my heart race and my face heat up. " I wasn't kidding when I said you looked very beautiful, you look amazing," Joe said. " I wasn't kidding either, Joe, you look absolutely incredible," I said. We shared the moment for a little bit before the song ended. Then I stepped to the side, and Joe reminded close. " Joe I have to be honest it's be an interesting couple of days," I said. " I would agree," Joe said. " And I think we both have caught on to Sydney and Evan trying to get us together," I said. "yeah, I agree, I would also have to say they seem to be right on what they are trying to do," Joe said. " I would willingly to give it a try, in time when we know each other more," I said. " Same with me," Joe said. We gave each a smile, " we are going to keep in contact since I go back to LA tomorrow," I said. " Yea, sure absolutely," Joe said.
