Chapter 13: Birthday Fiasco

Y/N's POV
2 months later- November 16, 2021
The past two months have been fine our record so far is 7-3 after the loss against the San Francisco 49ers. But on the bright side today is my 29th birthday. Joe flew in from Cincinnati since it's his bye week. Sean insisted on throwing me a party at his place. Evan and Sydney are also flew in today too, and Sean said I should invite anyone I want. Most of the Rams players are going to there. So that means Joe and Matthew are going to be in the same place. So Sydney, Evan and Sean will be pushing me to Either of them. Im going to all out anyway, it's my birthday after all. The party in hour so I went to take a shower and then get ready. I dress in this red satin dress was on the flattering sexy side. I did smoky eye makeup and red lipstick. Just in case something were to happen, I put on a black  lace set under my dress. Maybe apart wants a little bit of fun with either Joe or Matthew. We'll see, I got in my car and drove to Sean's Place, I had already given Joe, Evan and Sydney the address. I got to Sean's house and knocked on the door. Sean opened the door and had a big smile on his face. " Ay, there's the birthday girl, Matt is already here, and he's going to LOVE your outfit," Sean said. I walked and immediately saw Sydney with Evan and Joe. Sydney looked in my direction and she had a shocked look on her face. She then turned to Joe and said something to him. after that he looks at me and his eyes widen and his Jaw dropped.
Joe's POV
I was hanging out with Evan and Sydney went Sydney told me to look at the door. It was Y/N, she looked drop dead gorgeous, and the most Beautiful woman I've ever seen. God, She looks so sexy, I just want her to be mine.
Matthew's POV
I was talking to Cooper and Tyler, and Cooper seemed distracted. " Coop, are you even listening to me," I asked. " Uh, Dude you might want to turn around, Y/N just got here," Cooper said. I turned around and was shocked. There standing with Sean was Y/N in the most gorgeous dress and made her look like a Goddess. I have to make her mine.
Y/N's POV
I went over to Evan, Joe, and Sydney.    " Y/N, Love you look so gorgeous, Happy Birthday," Sydney said as she gave me a hug. " Happy birthday, Y/N," Evan said as he also gave me a hug. " Thanks guys, I'm happy you guys are here," I said. I turned to Joe, " You look like Gorgeous, Sweetheart," Joe said with a sly smile. " thank you, Joey, I'm glad you are here, and you look great," I said. " we'll leave you two alone," Sydney said with a wink. " God, you look so beautiful, Y/N," Joe said. Joe's eyes were now a dark Grayish blue.  A shade of color I haven't seen before. " Do you want a drink," Joe asked. " Sure, surprise me," I said. Then Joe went to the bar to get drinks. That's when Mr. Matthew Stafford came along. " Hey, Darlin', Happy Birthday, you look phenomenal tonight," Matthew said as he kissed my cheek. " thanks, Matty, you're looking mighty fine yourself," I said with a giggle. I saw that you invited Joe Burrow, Evan and Sydney McPherson," Matthew said. " Yea, I did," I said.
Joe's POV
I was coming back with the drinks and Y/N was with Matthew Stafford. I recently figured out he is the one that Y/N has feelings for. Matthew Stafford better watch his back.
Y/N's POV
"I'm back with the drinks," Joe said. " thank you Joey, have met Matthew Stafford," I said. " No I haven't," Joe said with a off tone. " Well, Y/N and I are going to finish talking," Matthew said. " you can talk to her all you want at work," Joe said. " Joey, just wait a bit ok," I said. Then Joe stormed off to Evan and Sydney. " I don't think he likes me," Matthew said. " I'm sorry he was like that," I said. " It's not your fault, Darlin', it's your birthday, you should be happy, and show that beautiful smile of yours," Matthew said. I blushed, Matthew has been nothing but the sweetest thing ever. " Come on, Darlin, let's go dance," Matthew said as he guided me to the dance floor. Time goes by and everyone is mostly drunk or half sober. I was half drunk , and unknowingly to went over to Joe. " H-hey, P-pretty B-boy," I said " Hey Sweetheart," Joe said, I sat down on his lap, and moved a bit.
Joe's POV
Good Lord this woman is making it so hard to resist right now. I felt rubbing my chest and my arms and biceps. I felt her lips again my neck, and then on my jawline. God I want her so bad, I want her to make mine. I got up and picked her up and went upstairs to an empty room with a bed. I close the door and locked it. I then pinned her against the wall. " You, are just a little tease, aren't you," I asked with an annoyed tone . " real cute interaction with Stafford," I said close to her face. " why, You Jealous, Burrow," She asked. " Yes I'm Jealous, I know he's the person you've had feelings for while," I said. " Who told you that," She asked. " Sydney did, she told me a long time ago," I said.
Y/N's POV
Why would she tell him that, she had no right to tell him that. " Joey, I'm sorry I can't do this right now," I said. But he blocked the door, " Why, cause you want to be with Stafford instead, is that who you want," Joe snapped" No, I don't even know who I want to be with but I'm going to go find Sydney and have a talk with her," I said sternly. " Oh Okay, sorry for snapping at you," Joe said. " it's okay, Joey, and I'm also just not ready for that right now," I said. " I'm be ok with whenever you are ready, Sweetheart," Joe said. " let's go back downstairs," I said. " Sure," then we went Downstairs, " Sydney, why the hell did you tell Joe about Matthew," I snapped. " I thought it would be helpful," She said. " look I get you want Joe and I together but Matthew and Joe both deserve a fair chance, you almost made Joe lose his, Joey and Matt are two different people, Joe can get a little Jealous, Matthew isn't like that," I said. " I don't want Them to hate each other," I said. " I'm sorry that I told him,ok," Sydney said. " it's fine, just don't do it again," I said. Then went to sit down, Joe came next to me, " Sweetheart you okay you don't look so good," Joe asked. " I think I need to go home," I said. " let me drive you home," Joe said. " okay, that's fine," I said. We went my car and Joe drove me home. We got to my apartment and Joe carried all the way to my bed. He laid me down on my bed. " you feel any better," Joe asked. " A little," I said. " I'll stay here for the night to make sure you're ok," Joe said. " Okay, Joey, thank you for this, I appreciate it," I said. " It's no problem, you are my priority," Joe said. " I'm sorry I haven't chosen already, you and Matt are both so good to me," I said. " It's not your fault, Matthew seems like a good guy, and you've liked him longer and now you work with him," Joe said. " Goodnight, Sweetheart, get some rest, and Happy Birthday," Joe said as he kiss my forehead. " Goodnight, Joey, thank you," I said. He then went to the guest room and I drifted off to sleep, after a long day.
