Chapter 15: New Friends and beginning

December 9,2021
A month goes by, and Joe and I become close. Sydney and I aren't speaking at the moment. But I made a new friends, who is apart of the Bengals WAGs. It's Sam and Ja'marr's new girlfriends. Sam's new girlfriend is named Avery. Ja'marr's girlfriend is named Sasha. I'm in Cincinnati to surprise Joe for his birthday. All the guys know I'm here and so does Avery and Sasha. I went to the facility, where the others are going to be. " Hey, Girl, you made it," Sasha said giving me a hug. " are the boys here yet," I asked. " No not yet, they should be coming out here soon," Avery said. Then I saw the Bengals players come on the field. Joe was with Ja'marr and Tee. I smiled at the thought of surprising him. Then he turned in our direction, he saw me and was shocked. He ran over to us, " Baby, what are you doing here, when did you get here," Joe asked. " I came to surprise you for your birthday, Joey," I said with smile. " Aww, Sweetheart, I'm so happy to see you," he said. " Did everyone know you were coming," Joe said. " yea, Even Zac knew," I said. " well, Sweetheart, this is the best gift," Joe said. " Coach, um the new intern is here," Evan came up and said. " oh, yea have Sydney, bring her here," Zac Taylor said. Sydney came with a brunette girl. " Coach Taylor this is a good friend of mine, Olivia Holzmacher," Sydney said. " Hello Ms. Holzmacher, I'm Coach Zac Taylor, welcome to the Bengals Family," Zac Said. I saw Olivia eyeing Joe, and Sydney saw that too. " thank you, Coach Taylor, since I'm new, can one of your players show me around," She asked. " that's a good idea, Joe why don't you show her around," Sydney said. What the hell, what is she trying to do. Just because her and I aren't speaking, she is trying to take Joe away from me. " Um, sorry, Sydney, Joe is needed here at practice but you are more the welcome to show her around," Zac Taylor said. Thank God for Zac Taylor, " Fine, Come on, Olivia," Sydney said. Then they left, " Dude, what the hell, just happened first she tries to set me up with Joe, now that I'm mad at her, she's trying to take him away from me," I said. " Don't worry, Y/N, we won't let that happen, Joe is too much of a simp for you, and is in love with you anyways," Ja'marr said. " Geez, thanks Dude," Joe said. After practice, Joe, Sam, Ja'marr, the girls and I went over to Joe's house. " So, what are you gonna do about Sydney, Sunshine," Joe asked. " we've been friends for a long but I didn't think she would be the type to do this," I said. " I think its best if you aren't friends with her anymore, Girl," Sasha said. " I agree , Sunshine, she almost made me lose my chance with you, by telling me about Stafford," Joe said. " Which she had no right to do that," Avery said. " exactly," Sam said. " what if she tries to guilt trip me about if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have met you guys," i said. " Who cares, you met better friends that's for sure," Joe said. " you guys are right," I said. " Atta, girl," Avery said. " That's my girl," Joe said. " we are going over there right now," I said. " we are right with you, Girl," Sasha said. Then we all drove over to The McPhersons to end my long friendship with the one person that I thought I would have as my friend forever. Then We knocked on the door and Evan opened the door. " Hey, guys, is something the matter," Evan asked. " where's Sydney," I asked in a irritated tone. " Sydney, there's some people here to see us," Evan said nervously. Sydney came to the door, " oh what are you guys doing here," Sydney said. " Sydney, I can't be friends with you anymore, what you did was uncalled for, before you start with the guilt tripping of how you were the one to introduce me to Joey and the bengals, we'll I don't care, you hurt me," I said. " also be friends with Olivia all you want, and don't think about trying to get Olivia to steal Joe away form me, Ja'marr, Sam, Tee, Avery and Sasha are going make sure that doesn't happen," I said. " Goodbye Sydney," I said. Then we left their place and went back to Joe's place. " you feeling better, after that, Baby," Joe asked. " Yeah, thanks for having my back guys," I said. " no problem," they said. After a few tthey went to home and now it was just Joe and I. We went to bed and fell asleep in each other's arms.
————————the next day- December 10, 2021 (Joe's Birthday)——-
I woke up to a sleeping Joe Burrow, he looked so peaceful. " you do know it's rude to stare at people," Joe said as he opened his eyes. " Happy Birthday, Joey," I said with a smile. " thank you, Sweetheart, waking up to you, is already the best birthday gift," Joe said. I kissed him on the lips. " So, what are we exactly," Joe asked. " I don't know," I said. " Y/N, I want know who you choose," Joe said. I thought long about between Matthew and Joe. I think I finally know. " I choose you, Joseph Lee Burrow," I said. " Wait, are you serious," He asked. " yes, but for now I want to keep this relationship private and a secret," I said. " Only The girls, Tee, Ja'marr and Sam can know," I said. " Okay, I'm totally fine with that," Joe said. " with that said, Y/N L/N will you be my girlfriend," Joe asked. " yes, Joseph Lee Burrow, I will be your girlfriend," I said with a smile. " Finally, you're my girlfriend," Joe said. " I know, I'm sorry it took so long to choose," I said. " it's okay, Baby," Joe said. We cuddled the rest of the morning and then hung out with Sam, Ja'marr , Avery, and Sasha. we ended up telling them about us and how we are going to keep it secret and private. They were happy for us. Finally I'm in a relationship and I finally choose. It was a difficult choice. Things are good, or maybe so I thought.

Plot twist: Sydney and Y/N's friendship ends and Olivia is now in the picture. This is no diss or hate to Olivia. It's solely for the story. I love Joe and Olivia and I love their relationship.
