Oh, the comments I got sharing this photo of my bro on one of my Google Chat spaces. (Please ignore his pants, I didn't feel like cropping them out. Let him SuFfEr.) 😈
'Aww, your brother looks so ✨drip.✨'
'I aLmOsT tHoUgHt He WaS tOm HoLlAnD.'
PAH!
Obviously, these people have never met my bro IRL. He'S iNsUfFeRaBlE! 😜
And he needs to SHAVE more often.
So then my bro and I are giggling over what message to send back to them, and I suggested the following, which he immediately sent.
'I am Tom's stud double.'
💀
Bro: Oops.
Bro: Darn autocorrect. (Said while he ACTUALLY typed it out.)
Bro: Tho...
Bro: It is correct. ;)
Me: Dude, don't do it.
Bro: *Naughtily* Do what..?
Me: You're gonna hit on the girls, aren't you?
Bro: >:)
In Chat: Are any of you ladies single? 😘
Me: *Smacks him in the back of the head*
Another member of the Chat: Um, who is this?
Bro: ..................
Seriously, I love how Dad can start sleeping in the most normal of positions, and then soon, over the course of his short sleep cycle, he S P R E A D S out until he takes over my parent's full bed, like some sort of scruffy starfish. 💀
And then mom has to wake him up somewhat to move him.
Then dad won't let her go, because he's got an iron grip, and he doesn't want to lose her. 🤗
Mom, you will furever be his teddy bear.
Me, dual-wielding whisks: HAX MODE, ON!!!
*Energetic whisking*
Dad: I AM MAN, HEAR ME ROAR!!!
Dad: Mew!
Just watering our plants, and I sort of noticed that I flick my paw- Er, wrist, every time I dunk the watering can into our water barrels, to flick the droplets off. =^^=
No wonder everyone thinks I'm cute, but also very sus...
*After eating dinner*
Brother: *Leans over to kiss mom*
Brother: Oh wait, you didn't do anything. *Goes to kiss me instead*
Mom: *Indignant spluttering noises*
Another day:
My parents, realizing that they haven't had a date night in fur-ever: We should go out for dinner.
Me: Sure, you two go on ahead. :)
Dad: Will you guys be okay? Want to join?
Me: Oh, no. It's about time that you two got to have dinner together.
Mom: But, your dinner...
Me: Shoo, shoo!
Bro: *Brightly* Don't worry, we can make dinner!
Me: *Meaningfully glares at him* WE?
Him: Ehehe..! I meant YOU can make dinner.
Me: *Sighs*
Bro: BuT yOu Do It So WeLl!
Mom: At least he trusts you enough to make a great meal.
Me: YoU dOn'T sAy!
Me: BECAUSE HE'S LAZY!!! HE NEEDS TO LEARN!!!
Bro: ..So what are we having?
Me: *Another sigh* Food of the gods, bro. Food of the gods.
Me: How does Vietnamese Pho sound?
Bro: *Nearly crying with joy* YES!!! THANK YOU, YOU'RE SO AMAZING!!!
Me: You only say things like that when I make you food. 🙄
Parents: *Coming home about an hour later*
Mom: *Takes a deep sniff* NOW THIS SMELLS LIKE A RESTAURANT!
Me: 😊
Mom: Not like that place. Flavorless, all of it!!!
Dad: Yeah.
Mom: I mean, it's okay, but these people don't know how to spice their food.
Dad: True that.
Mom: Now, back home where I'm from-
Me: -I made enough for you guys, too, if you want some.
Mom: 😍 Okay! Thank you!!!
Dad: Ye.
Me: Alright, table for two coming up! *Pointed look at bro*
Bro: You mean I actually have to get up?
Me: YES!!! I'm serving!
Bro: FiNe.
And after, as per usual, we discussed how I made it with my mother.
Me: You remember those two lemongrass plants that I sliced all of the leaves off of?
Mom: You mean when it was freezing outside, and you laboriously saved them and dried them in that terrible weather?
Me: *Nods* That's in there, t-
Me: *Sniffles* SUCH dedication to feed your family!
Me: YOU and DAD. Bro can starve, for a change.
Bro: That sounds about right, really.
Lloyd: Kai, keep an eye on Jay today. He's going to say something to the wrong person and get punched.
Kai: Sure, I'd love to see Jay get punched.
Lloyd: Try again.
Kai, sighing: I will stop Jay from getting punched.
