~ Sam ~

Jeongin and Jisung followed me home with absoultely no invitation from me. I'd say "My friends followed me home," but they became my friends also without invitation, so I'm a bit sour about it. It's not that I dislike them. We have more of a love/hate thing going on where there may or not be more hate than love.

"Sammie~" Jeongin flopped onto my bed with his dirty ass self and I cringed a bit. I had changed my sheets only yesterday. I verbally expressed that and he just laughed it off.

"Say, Sam. You seem to hate us more recently." Jisung was lounging in my favorite chair. It was black and stiff, but still my favorite.

"That's not true. I've always hated you this much." Jeongin hit my shoulder lightly and I smiled.

Jeongin rolled around in my sheets. "Can we go somewhere today?"

"Somewhere like.. back home to your houses and I stay here?" Another light hit.

"Let's go to the city," Jisung suggested. He looked bright and excited. The idea excited me too. We hadn't been out to the city in a few weeks.

"I'm cool with that."

Jeongin agreed after me and then I went to get my stuff to go, like my wallet, since they always make me pay.

Upon scavenging the kitchen, I heard the front door being unlocked and then it opened as I turned to look at it. I was met with the ugly face of my twin brother and his three ugly friends. Don't get me wrong, my brother and I look identical, but he always puts funky makeup on and dresses so.. gay. "Ew," I naturally sounded.

He scoffed when he saw me. "Please ignore him," I heard him mutter to the ugly guys.

"Please get out of my sight. It's hurting my goddamn eyes to look at you," I retorted.

"Hey, Sam." The oldest of the uglies approached me and leaned on the counter. "How've you been?"

I glared at him and continued searching for my wallet. A thought suddenly entered my head and it made so much sense that I followed it without a second thought. Whenever anything goes wrong, it always has to be Hyunjin. "Hyunjin! Get your ass back here!"

He paused and unhappily faced me. "What do you want?"

"My wallet is nowhere to be found. Where the fuck did you put it? You better not have touched any of my money." I came closer to him to go to his room and ransack it.

"I didn't touch your wallet, Sam. Why would I touch your wallet? You literally have no money." He tried to go to his room and ignore me. I lunged to grab his arm but one of the goddamn uglies stopped me by putting a hand on my chest.

"Don't touch Hyunjin." He looked at me seriously with his bug-ass eyes and portruding upper lip.

"Or what?" I tossed his hand away from me.

"Fuck off, Hwang," the oldest ugly threatened. He joined my brother in his room and all four shut the door behind them.

"I'm speechless." I turned back to the kitchen and Jisung was standing there with crossed arms.

"Why?" I grumbled.

"Why are you so violent and rude? What did Hyunjin ever do to you?" He gave me a displeased look and I rolled my eyes back far.

"Doesn't matter. It's also none of your fucking business." I pushed past him to go search my room for the third time.

He followed and sat on the bed where Jeongin was now napping. I could feel his eyes still on me. It almost made me feel ashamed. Almost.

"By the way—" I turned to glare at him because the way he kept scolding me was annoying. "I'm pretty sure I saw your wallet on your bed before Jeongin laid down.

My jaw dropped and I shoved Jeongin onto the floor harshly to check. Yep. It was right under where he was. My constant glaring must have been burning holes by now because Jeongin flinched hard when he saw me looking at him.

"What was that for?" He rubbed his head. I didn't feel bad.

"I've been looking everywhere for my wallet and you were lying on it the whole time."

"That's not his fault, Sam. Get over it and let's go." Jisung grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the house behind him. I was a bit shocked since I didn't expect him to hold my hand, but the way he did it so naturally made me keep to myself for the first time in my life.

——

"Why can't we go to the cafe first?" Jeongin complained as I led him through the city. We entered a courtyard and I smiled to myself.

"Let's watch the people busking first."

"You like busking?" Jisung asked in surprise. I looked over at him and realized he had our arms linked as we walked. Weird.

"Of course I do. Busking is freaking cool." I led them to sit in front of the three designated areas. Only one was currently occupied. There was a shorter looking kid in bright bright neon clothing. Even his shoes were bright red. Quite frankly, it hurt my eyes. The hot sun was reflecting from the clothes and I had to squint. I almost decided to leave but shoved down the annoyance I felt.

"That kid's good." Jusing pulled out a small bill from his pocket and went to set it in the bucket hat set out. When he came back, I asked him why he wasted important money on something someone doesn't need to be paid for. He gave me another displeased look. "He came out here in the hot sun to pop his pussy to a really good dance that he definitely practiced for hours on. And, I can do whatever I want with my money." He continued on past me and I could tell he was heading towards the cafe. Jeongin followed without a word.

I stayed where I was watching the kid for a bit longer as I had some odd thoughts. Being mad all the time.. Who cares? I can act how I want. I stood up to join them.

"You mad?" I begrudgingly asked Jisung as he pulled open the door to the establishment.

Jisung shrugged. "When am I not mad at you?" Jeongin joined in by laughing.

We sat down at a table and waited for a woman to come up to us. "What can I get for you young men?"

"I'll take a black coffee and a sour tart," Jeongin ordered. I had always wondered why he ordered the most bitter and unpleasant things, but then I remember he chooses to hang out with me, so he must like suffering.

"Iced Americano and plain cheesecake." Jisung had a small blush on his cheeks from how widely he was smiling. I've never met anyone with such a love for cheesecake before.

"Iced Americano and chocolate muffin, please." When she wrote it down and turned, I poked Jisung's cheek.

"Hey!" He blushed harder.

"Why do you love cheesecake so much? It's not that special." I waited expectantly as he stuttered over his words in an expression of being flabbergasted.

"Not that good!? It's—It's so freaking good!" He put his hands on his head to control himself for confessing his love of cheesecake any further.

"Sure, buddy—" I turned to the door that ringed as it opened. I was going to ignore it until I noticed that it was the neon busking dude. "Woah."

"Say hi!" Jeongin whisper-shouted as he grabbed my shoulder and pushed it around.

"Seriously!" Jisung chorused.

Ignoring my embarrassment, I waved a bit towards him, but it seemed that he was trying not to be seen so he practically zoomed into the staff bathroom without noticing me. My hand was left hanging and Jeongin tapped it down.

They chuckled at my failed attempt and I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."
