~ Jeongin ~

Sam hasn't made any move to contact Jisung or I at all. Or, if he has, nothing's reached us. Jisung was pretty heartbroken for the first week, but it's been a month, so he is back to normal.

It's only been about two-three months into the school year, it now being October 30th. Jisung and I were actually going to meet up and go to a party tomorrow night.

We originally planned to trick-or-treat, but the county banned it for anyone over 10 years old earlier this year. Lame.

They also banned costumes at school for Halloween, which is so fucking dumb. It's like they don't want anyone to ever have fun.

Jisung and I decided not to give a fuck about it and just get dress-coded for the day. I dressed up as a traditional Korean woman in a traditional Korean dress. He dressed up as Elsa. What's Halloween for if not for cross-dressing?

We slept over the night before to get ready together. I had already put very pale foundation on his face along with simple Frozen makeup. He was now applying the makeup to my face. Pure white foundation with bright red blush and lipstick.

"Sung."

"Don't move your face!! You'll mess me up!!" He overreacted with hands flying everywhere. I held in the laugh so I don't "mess him up".

"I want to tell you something."

"Give me a sec. Lemme finish up." He came close with a hilariously focused expression.

I waited patiently until he pulled back and began putting away the utensils.

"I invited someone to go to the party tomorrow with us. I'm also considering inviting another someone."

His eyebrows raised. "Who?"

"Well.. I invited Lia. You know her?"

His face scrunched up in thought. He was someone who genuinely didn't know anyone but his immediate friends. Literally oblivious.

"I think. In our grade?"

"Yep. Lia Choi. Her Korean name is Jisu."

"Ah. I know her. You invited her?" He finished putting the makeup away and I faced the mirror across the room to check out his work.

"Yep. We've been dating for a while."

"WHAT!?" My bestie's jaw dropped and he scanned me as if he can't believe it.

"Yep. Thought you'd notice, but you didn't, so I didn't mention it."

His jaw dropped further down. "You invited your girlfriend? So I just have to third wheel?"

My finger raised matter-of-factly. "That's why I'm contemplating inviting someone else for you."

"Me? Who?"

"I'll take suggestions, but if you can't think of one, it'll be a surprise. Who may or may not agree to it."

"Who are you thinking of?"

"Uh-uh. No sir. Suggestions, please." I looked at him expectantly.

He looked off in thought and I could clearly tell when an idea came to mind. His breath caught and he began chewing on his lip.

"Sam."

I partly expected that. "You sure?"

"Yeah. I really miss him."

I nodded. "That was who I was gonna suggest. But you know it's unlikely he agrees. I mean, I called him like you begged me to but he just pretended we never talked."
