~ Minho ~

I woke up as one of the only people without hangovers, since I didn't feel like drinking much.

Hyunjin and I stayed over at Bangchan's house, Felix having to go home and SeungBin disappearing on the way out of the party.

I slept in Bangchan's bed with Hyunjin since Bangchan lost the round of rock, paper, scissors. He had his leg laid over mine and hand behind my neck. He likes to spread out and cuddle in his sleep.

While my bed buddy slept, Bangchan sat awake at the desk.

"'Sup, mate."

I smiled and scurried over to sit on the desk. "Trouble sleeping?"

"As always. How'd you sleep?"

I nodded. "Amazingly. How was the party for you?"

"Nice enough. I think they were doing drugs in the backrooms, though. I went to to scold them but they didn't let me in, saying I'm 'too old'. As if."

I chuckled. "Old man."

"I'm literally a teenage boy."

"And? Old man." I don't mean it and he knows it. It's just a joke Seungmin started.

Speaking of: "Hey, where do you think Seungmin went? I was too tired to text him last night."

"To Changbin's house maybe?"

"To.. do it?"

Chan choked on his spit. "Better not be! Besides, they barely even began kissing, much less having sex. But they really better not. Actually—"

He pulled out his phone and went immediately to Seungmin's contact, named MongMong 🐶.

You better not have done anything involving a lack of clothes, young mister! And where are you?? You have to tell us before you run off with your man!

I laughed. Chan's like a dad to us, our little group, and I love it.

Just then, my phone dinged in my pocket. Seeing the contact, my heart sped up. Jisung <:3

Min
You awake? Or busy?

We haven't spoken in months, so why is he texting me? Does he want to get back together?

Awake. Not busy
What's up?

He didn't respond for a minute or two, so I put my phone down until the familiar ding rang again.

I need boy help and you're the only guy I've ever dated, so I wanted your advice on what to do

Ah. Okay. Surprisingly, I didn't feel disappointed at all. I know I don't have any feelings for him anymore, so we're cool.

Okay. Tell me

He began typing before I sent it.

In person plz. Better than explaining over text

Where

Where are you right now

I didn't want to meet up at my friend's house.

Park.

I gave him the address and quickly got dressed in Bangchan's clothes.

"What're you doing?"

I forgot Chan was awake. "Jisung wanted to meet up to talk a bit."

His eyebrows raised. "He tryna get you back?"

"Pretty sure not. He says he needs help with boy problems and doesn't know who else that's into guys to ask."

"Okay. Have fun."

"Yep." I grabbed my things and headed to the park. When I arrived, he was already there, sitting on the swings and rocking slowly.

"Ji!" I called and sat in the seat beside him.

"Hey. How've you been?"

"Pretty good. How have you been?"

"Okay, I guess. Not really, though."

I frowned and got comfortable. "Why not?"

He began picking at his fingers, a habit I noticed before when we had a fling.

He told me the whole story, barely breathing in between words. Of course, there were many random things he mentioned and asked because he has an overactive mind, but I understood eventually.

The most shocking thing was that he likes Sam of all people. A piece of shit.

"Thought of ditching him? He seems like a piece of trash."

He winced and shook his head sadly. "He used to be so sweet and happy. I even thought we had something going on before he changed. But I didn't know him long enough to know if that's how he always was or something happened."

"How was it when he stopped contacting you and talking to you, when you said he ghosted you?"

He stopped the swing in thought. "I was really hurt and heartbroken at first, but I got over it after a bit. It was like there was a hole in my heart, but I was able to distract myself after some time."

I nodded. I feel like a therapist right now. I feel helpful.

"How did you feel when he came back?"

He slumped. "I had a panic attack. Right in front of him. And I was terrified he'd hurt me if he found out I like him."

"Bro. He's so bad for you."

"No, but then he hugged me while I cried for a while and then fixed my makeup afterwards."

I leaned back. This is complicated. "What are you currently planning on doing?"

"Nothing. Acting like nothing and just continuing as if I'm not scared and in love."

I hummed. "Unreasonable. You need to ditch him or tell him your feelings. You deserve friends and lovers who aren't scary and accept you."

"But I'm genuinely afraid he'll hurt me if I tell him."

"Do you have someone who could accompany you?"

"Yeah, but he punched him last time things got bad and I was left alone."

"I'll go." Honestly, I can tell this is a really bad idea since he knows me and hates me by association to his brother.

"You sure?"

"Yep."

"When?"

"Right now?"

He gaped and shook his head adamantly. "No! That's so scary!"

"It's gotta happen one day. Why waste time and energy and not just get it over with?"

He sighed and nodded, then threw his head back in complainant. "Scary."

"You got this. Let's go." I stood up and pulled him up with me. "You'll either get a boyfriend, a black eye, rejected, or have one less friend."

He shut his eyes tightly and followed. "I'm questioning if you were the right person to get advice from."
