Pulling off the last of his patches and bandages James got a good look at himself in the mirror of his personal Bathroom within his bedroom in the Helicarrier

Even with his enhanced healing due to his hyped up Serum his injuries seemed to be taking their sweet time healing and recovering back up as his Back and chest looked like a cat had scratched him to bits

The sight only made James sigh before slamming his hands palm flat onto the sink counter and just closing his eyes

Three knocks were at his door and James didn't bother to move from his possession when the sliding door had opened

"Need a timeout" Francis said with crossed arms as he leaned against the doorframe

James just snorted a chuckle

"Feels like we're down by 50 right now"

Francis had made James let out a small laugh finally bringing him up from his slump as he he had turned around and leaned against the sink

"How's Torunn" James asked

Francis's facial expression had been ever the more serious give James the answer he needed

"Valeria's counter lighting had erupted her nerves. Azari's currently filtering the bad lighting out of her system while also keeping her blood stable by bending her cells"

James just raised an eyebrow to show his confusion but Francis just shook his head

"So let me get this straight. Azari and Pym unlock new abilities. You find out your Dad was Ronin and get a sword and Torunn got to find Wakanda. But I was the one who got kidnapped ? Next time we fight, how about everyone not going awol on me ?"

Francis had only laughed

"Yeah, how are you anyway ? I mean Ian had you captive for 3 days. Anything mentally wrong ? besides your new girlfriend ending up being Doctor Doom 2.0

With a eye roll James began Stretching his ligaments and body parts

"nope, nothing I can't handle. Just all physical. I just thought about what my Uncle Bucky had went through and decided that this was nothing compared to his hell"

"But since we're on the subject I need to ask. How's Franklin ?"

Telling my Francis's expression that happened to be a whole different beast to deal with. The question was so deep Francis changed his position putting his hands in his pockets

"He hasn't left the guest quarts since we got back. Pym tried to check up on him multiple times but nothing. He has the door locked and shut and lights off in darkness"

James didn't show his expression. Only kept his stern leader look clenching his jaw muscles

"Pym was able to run a scan upon him before his isolation and came to a more shocking discovery and hypothesis of what Valeria's device did to him"

"What did it do ?"

Freeing one hand to Scratch the back of his head Francis spoke

"It took a sample of his blood 4 whole pint to be exact which explained why his body was barely keeping up"
