Lydia POV
"Ayesha!" I say opening the front door to my apartment revealing Ayesha. "You made it!" I say pulling her into a hug.
"Of course babe!" I haven't seen Ayesha in so long! We always kept in contact through text and Facetime but since I left San Francisco, I have not seen her in person.
"Auntie Esha!" I hear Aria running through the living room to the front door. "Hi, my little baby!" Ayesha says lifting her up and walking into my apartment. I grab her suitcase and make sure to lock the door behind me. I roll her suitcase into the living room and watch as she takes a seat on the couch.
"Is Canon coming?" Aria asked looking up at Ayesha. "No, he is home with his dad and other siblings." She says and Aria pouts.
"I never have anyone to play with." Aria pouts and I sigh. "You have Miss Walter's granddaughter," I say and she pouts crossing her arms.
"Vivian smells." My mouth drops and Ayesha bursts out into fits of laughter. "Aria that's not nice," I say shaking my head.
"Well, Daddy told me that next time I see Vivian I should let her know how I feel," Aria says looking at me and Ayesha innocently. One of the hardest things right now is Jordan lets Aria do whatever and say whatever she wants. He is doing it on purpose to make me mad. I know him. His fucking petty betty ass!
"Well next time you see Vivian you will tell her in a respectful way," I say and she nods. "Auntie Esha! Let me show you my iPad!" Aria says getting off of her lap and running to her room.
"No running!" I yell out but it was too late. "I know your downstairs neighbors hate you." Ayesha jokes and I shake my head. "He does."
"He?" She asked looking at me. "Yeah, but he was nice about it. " I say and she nods.
"When Aria came to the opening season game, I thought I would see you too," Ayesha says and I sigh.
"Jordan hates me."
"Hate is a strong word, Lyd."
"He doesn't even come to my place to pick up Aria. It's either Olivia has to pick her up to take her to this secret location or if he is in town, he drops her off at my mom's place." I say shaking my head. Jordan hates me.
"I haven't even had a full conversation with that man since that day," I say sighing.
"Well, what do you expect? You told him you don't love him anymore and you don't want to be together." Ayesha says looking at me and I nod. "Whatever happened Lydia, you can talk to me about it. We can figure this out together."
"You're not happy Lydia." I wasn't. The hardest 3 years of my life.
"I know." I finally say.
"Then what it is? What happened?" She asked. If I told Ayesha this would change a lot of things. Monet would start the threats and possibly put the people I love in danger.
"Mommy! Auntie Esha! Look I got a new iPad case!" Aria says running back into the living room. She climbs onto the couch and onto my lap showing the both of us her case.
"I love it, baby!" Ayesha says looking at me before directing her attention to Aria. Should I tell her?
----
I open up my trunk and start taking out all of the groceries I bought at the store. I just picked up Aria from preschool and I made sure to stop at the store before getting home.
"Mommy! Mommy!" I hear Aria yell from the backseat. "Aria what did I tell you about yelling?" I ask loading all the groceries into the portable cart I had in my trunk.
