Lydia POV
"You look beat babe," Ayesha says as we browse through Sephora. "Because I am," I say looking at all the Fenty products. I did not get a good night's rest and you want to know why?? Oh, you guessed right, Jordan Anthony Poole.
Flashback
I hear my phone buzz on the nightstand and I slowly open my eyes to see that it was 3:17 AM. Who is calling me? I look at the caller ID and see J❤️.
"Hello?" I answer.
"You did not put Aria's EpiPen in her bag." I hear him say and I sit up.
"I did," I say rubbing my eyes. "You did not because it's not in her bag." He bluntly says with an attitude. I take a deep breath and shake my head.
"Okay so did you check the other zip in the front of her bag?" I question getting out of bed making sure I did not accidentally place it in my tote bag.
"Well it is supposed to be in the front zip so where is it?" He asked in an attitude tone. "What's the attitude for Jordan?" I asked standing straight and resting my hand on my hip.
"I would not have an attitude if you had done your job and put her EpiPen in her bag." He says and I hear the sarcasm lacing through his voice. I want to slap the shit out of him.
"Alright so did you check other places if it's not in her front zip?" I ask. "That's not my job. I don't even know why you would move it." He bluntly says and before I could add another word, he ends the call.
"Lydia just breathe," I say trying to relax.
Flashback over
"He really called you about that?" Ayesha asked as I reach for one of the Fenty Glow lipglosses. "Yes, my fucking life."
"This was the first time he has even spoken to me since everything happened," I add and she widens her eyes. "Jordan and I never spoke to each other, barely. Everything went through either my mom, Liv, or Layla." I add.
"Girl, that's a good thing!" Ayesha says with a smile. I give her a look and shake my head. "Look he is slowly warming back up to you which is good!"
"This is progress and shows that he still loves and wants to get back with you!"
----
"I know that ain't Dana," Olivia mumbles as all the girls walk down the stadium aisles to the Family Section. Lydia squints her eyes and it sure was Dana standing with Jordan on the court as they prepared for their game against Utah Jazz.
"Hey, girl!" Ayesha says pulling Lydia in a hug and blocking her view of Jordan and Dana. "Hey esh," Lydia says pulling away.
"Does my twin always come to his games?" Lydia asked earning a laugh from Mychal and Hazel. "No, this is actually her first," Ayesha says linking arms with Lydia and walking over to her seats.
"Lydia can I get a picture please?" Lydia hears someone say. She turns around and sees a younger girl holding her phone. "Of course babe," Lydia says smiling and walking over to her. She holds her phone up and takes a few pictures.
"Thank you so much!" She says smiling at Lydia and they both hug each other before Lydia moved back to her seat. She intently watches as Dana stood at the sidelines with another girl watching as the boys warmed up.
"Come, I'm going to say hi to Gary," Olivia says pulling Lydia's arms. They make their way through the crowd and down to the court where both teams had been warming up.
