Lydia POV
"See that is what happens when you don't listen to Mommy," I say as Aria's cries filled our shared master suite in the Airbnb we were staying in for Klay and Laura's wedding weekend. Christmas came and it was time for Klay and Laura's wedding which we all were excited about!
"Daddy!" Aria says crying walking over to Jordan as he sat on the couch scrolling through his phone. She stands between his legs and he pulls her onto his lap. Aria does not listen but then again she is a kid. She had been running around our room after I told her several times to stop and hurt herself.
"Didn't mommy tell you to stop running around?" Jordan asked her using the pads of his thumbs to wipe away her tears. She slowly nods resting her head on his chest.
"Well that is what happens when you don't listen, Aria," Jordan says looking down at her and then at me. I shook my head before walking over to her suitcase and taking out her clothes.
"It hurts bad," Aria says crying holding out her elbow to Jordan. "When Mommy says stop she is not trying to ruin the fun, she just wants to keep you safe, okay Mama?" Jordan says kissing her elbow as she nods.
"Where is my mini-me?" I hear my mom say walking into our room. Aria's head pops up and she pouts looking at my mom.
"What's wrong?" My mom asked walking over to the couch. Aria moves from Jordan's lap and my mom picks her up. "I hurt myself because I didn't listen to Mommy." She pouts and my mom gives her a small smile.
"Come on pumpkin. I know the chef brought out some freshly picked grapes from the vineyard." My mom says carrying Aria out of the room leaving Jordan and me.
"Lyd," I hear Jordan call out as I take out the garment bag that held Aria's flower girl dress. "Hmm?" I hum zipping down the zipper and holding out her dress. I can not wait to see my little baby in this dress! I hear movement behind me and feel Jordan press his front on my back.
"Hi," He breathes out and kisses my cheek. "Hey," I say laying the dress down and taking out more of her things. I'm like a neat freak. I need to make sure all of Aria's things are ready for this weekend.
"Take a break. You've been unpacking since we got here." He says resting his hands on my waist.
"You just want to feel the coochie," I say and he snorts. "Well, when you put it like that... yeah." He says turning me around and smirking down at me.
"I feel like you've been holding back on me." He says slipping his hands under my sweatshirt and running his hands along my lower back. Don't fold Lydia.
"Well, Aria is here," I say wrapping my arms around his neck. "Well, she isn't now." He says leaning down and pecking my lips.
"I have to get ready for tonight. You too." I say playing with his gold chain that he wore around his neck.
"Okay then, I'll make it quick." He says bending down and lifting me up. My giggles filled the room as he brought us over to the couch and sat down as I straddle his waist.
"I missed you." He says resting his hands on my waist. "I missed you too," I say smiling. Jordan and I are continuing to work out the issues within our relationship and are getting better, which is good.
"Thank God, your mom came because I honestly was about to get blue balls seeing you double-cheeked up like that." Jordan jokes and I cover his mouth as I burst into laughter.
"Double cheeked up?" I ask as he laughs and nods. "Someone had to say to say it and it was only going to be me." He says slipping his hands into my leggings and resting them on both of my cheeks.
