Lydia POV
"Cannonball!" Jordan yells as he jumps in the pool. "Jordan!" I say laughing feeling the water splash on me as I sat on the poolside enjoying the sun and reading a book. He emerges from the water and swims over to where I was sitting.
"Come on baby. You should get in with me." He says with a smile. "Ten more minutes. I'm almost done with this chapter." I say. He pouts before swimming off.
We have been in Bali for the last few days and it has been amazing! We got to do so many tours, food tastings, dinners, and the famous swing in Bali! It really has been nice for me and Jordan to spend quality time with one another and continue to make memories.
But...
We are leaving in a day and my intuitions at the beginning of the trip had been telling me that maybe Jordan might propose... See this is what happens when I get my hopes up!
I am in no rush to get married to Jordan but with the move back to the Bay happening soon and the off-season approaching, this would be the perfect time for us to have our wedding. Just a suggestion...
I will wait till the right time but how long does a girl have to wait?
"Ten minutes is up!" I hear Jordan say swimming back over to me. "Is not," I say looking up from my book. "Is!" He says with a big smile. "Fine," I say setting my book down and standing up from my chair. I watch as Jordan's eyes rake my body as I adjust my bikini and walk over to the steps of the pool. He swims over and watches me get in.
"It's cold," I whine slowly taking my time to get in. "Come here," He says holding out his hand. I take hold of it and he pulls my body onto his. I wrap my arms around his waist feeling my body submerge into the cold water.
"Brr," I joke wrapping my arms around Jordan's neck. "You will warm up." I hear him say as he brings us to the edge of the pool that overlooked Bali. My back had been against the pool wall as Jordan and I enjoyed the silence.
"Did you have fun?" He asked breaking the silence. I nod looking at him as he smiles before pecking my lips. "It's so crazy because Bali was always on my bucket list," I say playing with his gold chain.
"I remember us talking about a few years ago and I wrote down all the places you've always wanted to go," Jordan admits and I pout. "You listen," I say caressing his cheek.
"I'm always listening baby." He says as I smile at him. "Even when I go off on tangents?" I ask and he lets out a small laugh. "Even the tangents," He says before pressing his lips against mine.
Jordan and I have proven to each other that we want to spend the rest of our lives with each other so maybe waiting for marriage is the right thing. Patience Lydia, Patience!

📍Last Day in Bali
"Wait Jordan," Lydia says trying to gain her balance on the sand. "Take my heels off," Lydia says pointing to her heels and Jordan bends down helping her take off the Botegga heels she wore.
"If you took the blindfold off, I would be able to do it myself," She trails off and Jordan chuckles. "Nice try, Lydia." He says holding her heels in his hand.
"I swear when you take this blindfold off, my eyebrows are going to be on it," Lydia joked earning a laugh from Jordan.
"Are we almost there?" Lydia whined asking Jordan as they walk through the sand.
