Lydia POV

"You look like you got hit by a bus," Stephen says to me as I walk into the Chase Center Arena. "You look like the bus," I say and he laughs throwing his arm over my shoulder.

"We missed you so much, Lydia!" He says bouncing one ball in his hand as we walk onto the court where a few of the other guys had been warming up for practice. My eyes stop on Jordan as he had been throwing a few 3-pointers at the arc.

"He's beating himself up," Steph says as we both look at him. "He is," I say crossing my arms and sighing. "I gave him a pep talk last night and this morning over text so I hope that will raise his spirits a little more," I say and Steph nods.

I hear Aria's giggles echo throughout the stadium and I watch as Coach Kerr carries her on his back. "Mommy look!" Aria says spotting me and I smile at her as Coach Kerr walks over to us.

"Is that my Lydia?" Coach Kerr says to me and I smile. "It is her in the flesh," I say as he pulls me into a hug. He lets down Aria and she quickly takes the ball that Stephen had been bouncing and runs away from it.

"Hey!" He says running after her and I smile. "I swear they act like kids when Aria is here." Coach Kerr jokes and I smile.

"How have you been?" He asked as we walked down the sidelines. "I've been good! Visiting Jordan for the weekend and then I'm heading back tomorrow early morning because Aria has home-schooling with my mom." I explain and he nods.

"I've heard from a few little birdies that you might be coming back to the Bay." He says smiling at me and I smirk. "Big mouth Steph or Big bird Klay?" I joke and bursts out into fits of laughter.

"Actually both." He says and I smile. "I'm planning on moving back in the next few months so Aria can start school here," I say and Coach Kerr smiles. "That's what I like to hear!" We continue talking and I watch as a few of the dancers walk in the arena. I spot a familiar face. Nina. Seeing her brings up a lot of memories of how her crazy ass stalker brother kidnapped me.

"Lydia!" She says once she sees me and I smile walking over to her. "Nina! It's so good seeing you!" I say pulling her into a hug. She matured a lot and now she is dancing for the Warriors which is amazing!

"How have you been?" I ask watching as a few dancers pass by us and some of them wave to me while others just walk past. Alright bitches.

"I've been really good! I just want to say thank you for helping me get on the dance team! I feel like without you I wouldn't be where I am today." She says and I smile.

"Of course Nina! You are a very talented girl who deserves opportunities like this." I say with a smile and she nods while walking away with the rest of the girls. I see another familiar face. Jade.

"Coach Kerr we need the floor for about 10 minutes." She says walking past him. He looks at her and shakes his head.

"Alright, Jade." He says before giving me a look. She is a little rude coming up in here like she owns the place!

"Ladies let's go! I don't have all day." I hear her say while the girls quickly walk onto the court and get into their beginning poses. A few of the players move off the court and allow the girls to rehearse their dance.

"Mommy!" Aria calls out to me as Stephen chased after her. She runs around the court with Stephen following her and I smile.

"Who's kid is this?" Jade says in an annoyed tone. Excuse me? Steph picks her up from behind and she giggles as he carries her over to me.

"Come on baby," I say holding my arms out as Stephen passed her to me. "I'm hungry." She says to me and I smile. "I think Daddy has snacks in his car," I say and her eyes light up.
