Lydia POV

Jordan was upset and hurt. He was upset and hurt Lydia, I think to myself as get Aria ready for her playdate with Vivian. My mom was going to pick her up and take her over to Mrs. Walter's house.

"Ow Mommy," Aria whines as I pull her curly hair into a slick bun. "Sorry baby." I apologize leaning down to kiss her forehead.

"Are you excited for your play date with Vivian?" I asked adding the finishing touches to her hair. "Vivian smells." Aria innocently says looking at me.

"Aria you know that is not nice to say," I say giving her a look. "But it's true." She says I lift her up from the bathroom counter and onto the floor. "Go get your things and meet me in the living room," I say kissing her cheek before she runs off. Those little legs...

It's been a week since the game and I haven't heard from Jordan. This weekend Aria would be seeing him and staying with him for a week. Those five words Jordan said to me had bothered me all week.

"I don't need you, Lydia,"

"Mommy! Mommy!" I hear Aria run back into my room. "Yes, honey?" I ask finishing my hair and walking over to her. "Nana is here!" I nod and grab my purse and phone before heading out to the living room to see her holding Aria in her arms.

"Hey Mom," I say with a soft smile. "Hey, sweetie! You look so beautiful today." She says and I smile before turning off the kitchen lights.

"Thanks Mom," I say before walking back to the living room. "You okay?" She asked looking at me and I nod.

"Aria go get a jacket. It's chilly outside." My mom says to Aria before she runs off to her room. "Is it about him?" My mom asked.

"I really don't want to talk about it," I say letting out a sigh and grabbing my bag from the counter. Today I was heading to a rented studio space to host a dance class with a few other choreographers in the area.

"Nana look what daddy got for me!" Aria says coming out in a Bape Hoodie. "Oh, I love it, sweetie!" My mom says lifting her up.

"You ready for your playdate with Vivian?" My mom says and Aria looks at me. I give her a look before she says "Yes."

"Alright let's get going. Mommy has a very busy day." She says letting her down to the ground and grabbing Aria's bag from the couch.

"Bye Mommy!" Aria says coming up to me as I kneeled to her height. "Bye, munchkin. Be good for Nana okay?" I say kissing her cheek and she nods before pulling me into a hug. My heart melted.

"I love you, Mommy," Aria says smiling at me. "I love you too baby."

Halle Berry by Hurricane Chris, played through the speaker as group one moved to the center of the floor to start dancing. Lydia loved moments like this! Getting back to the basics and having fun with other choreographers.

"Alright! Let's do this!" Fefe, another choreographer said as Lydia walked to the front and everyone behind her got into their places. Lydia started moving her hips to the beat of the music while others had been vibing to the music.

"5,6,7,8!" They all counted in and start the dance that took them only 45 minutes to choreograph. A lot of these choreographers are the reason why Lydia was where she was in her career. With a lot of encouragement and leading her in the right direction, Lydia was known to be one of the best choreographers in the dance industry.
