"Detroit, 6:00 P.M"

In Old Detroit, Blackout stands on the rooftop of an old rundown factory, looking down at Ironhide and Barricade while Ronaldo makes a quick escape with the Decepticon Hunter in hand.

Blackout: Barricade, grab the relic! I'll deal with the Wrecker!

Barricade drives off after Ronaldo, leaving Ironhide and Blackout to face off.

Blackout: So...Wrecker, I see you're still up and functional after all these megacycles! Impressive, I must admit, for an old, obsolete model such as yourself! Any other bot your age would've croaked some time ago with all the punishment you've endure in your long career of service!

Ironhide: The name's Ironhide to you, con, and I made it this far in my lifespan, through pure hell and back by my unbreakable will alone!

Blackout: Again, I must admit I am impressed by you, old mech, but let's see how long your will can go unbreakable by the time I'm through dismantling you!

Blackout lunges forward and tackles Ironhide head on, sending himself and his adversary tumbling across the ground. The Decepticon warrior stands to his feet and hoists the Autobot veteran over his head before tossing him through the air.

Ironhide flips himself upright in mid-air and lands on his feet before turning to face Blackout.

Ironhide: And let's see how far your gladiatorial skills will get you when reduced to a pile of molten slag!

Ironhide aims his Plasma Cannon and charges it up before charging at Blackout.

Blackout deploys his right Energon Cannon and charges back at Ironhide.

As he closes in, Ironhide knocks Blackout's cannon aside, causing him to accidentally fire and blast a nearby building to pieces in a large explosion. Blackout retaliates, hitting Ironhide across the face with a backhand and a firm kick to the chest as he was sent staggering backwards. Ironhide returns the favor and rams his shoulder into Blackout, nearly toppling him over before taking aim with his cannon.

Blackout quickly regains his bearings and aims his cannon in return.

At the same exact time, both Cybertronians fire their weapons.

The two blasts collide in close proximity and generate a powerful explosion with a shockwave that shatters nearby windows, sets off vehicle alarms, and throws both Ironhide and Blackout dozens of feet backwards.

There was a brief moment where both soldiers lay on their backs, groaning in pain as they take a few seconds to recover.

Eventually, both of them arose to their feet, ready to resume their battle.

Blackout pulls out his Rotor Blade and charges forward as Ironhide fires his Plasma and Ion Cannon simultaneously.

Blackout activates his blade, rapidly twirling it as he deflects the incoming blasts while continuing to charge at his foe. Once in close range, Blackout delivers a right hook to Ironhide's jaw, strikes him with a backhanded blow, and kicks him in the chest, sending him sliding backwards. The Wrecker lunges at his adversary and slams his bulk into his chest as he tackles him, causing him to let out a grunt of pain.
