Episode 21: Predator: Part 5

"Pennsylvania, 2:00 P.M"

Chromia looks on in shock as she finds herself standing before hundreds of Insecticon stasis pods in the hive.

Chromia: "No way!"

Chromia taps her comm link.

Chromia: Chromia to Team Sentinel!

*Static*

Chromia: Chromia to Team Sentinel! Do you read me?

*Static*

Chromia: Scrap!

Suddenly, Chromia was thrown backwards and stuck to a nearby stone pillar by sticky webbing. Chromia grunts and struggles to break free as a shadowy figure appears in the corner of the room.

The shadowy figure chuckles and emerges from the shadows, revealing herself to be Black Arachnia.

Black Arachnia: What do we have here?

Black Arachnia walks up to Chromia.

Black Arachnia: A little Autobot femme separated from her big, strong male counterparts and her pet Dinobot!

Chromia: Where are the others!?

Black Arachnia: They're otherwise engaged, and as for your beloved pet, he's staying put like a good boy, and I must admit you've trained him quite well! He follows orders without question and has proven himself to be quite the gentleman! He'll make a fine servant of mine someday!

Chromia: No!

Black Arachnia: As for you, you'll serve as a reminder to my foes of the consequences that come with treading on Insecticon territory!

A pair of arachnid-like appendages sprout from Black Arachnia's back and crackle with electricity as they slowly move towards Chromia who closes her optics and tenses up as she anticipates the very worst.

"2:10 P.M"

In a large vacant area of the cave, Mandible hovers Sentinel Prime, Ironhide, and Sideswipe with his Energon Blaster charged up and ready to fire.

Sentinel Prime: SCATTER!

Mandible fires his blaster, launching a wave of energy through the air.

Ironhide and Sideswipe leap out of harm's way as Sentinel raises his Shield and blocks the incoming blast. The force of the blast hitting his shield sends the Autobot sliding several feet backwards.

Ironhide fires his cannons while Sideswipe skates forward with the help of his wheels.

Mandible dodges the incoming blasts and flies towards Ironhide at high speed, ramming into his adversary as he was knocked twelve feet into the air before crashing to the ground with thud.

Sideswipe makes it to the top of a nearby rock formation as he looks out into the distance and finds Mandible flying around, raining down blaster shots on Sentinel who keeps his shield raised in defense.

Sentinel forms his right hand into a blaster and fires at the roof above, hitting a stalactite with multiple shots.

The stalactite eventually cracks before breaking as it falls towards Mandible.

Mandible quickly reacts, leaning to his right as he dodges the stalactite as it crashes it to the ground and shatters on impact.

Sentinel Prime: "We're not getting anywhere like this."
