Episode 30: Stowaways: Part 5

"Sudan, 2:00 A.M"

At the bottom of a smoldering crater, the smoke clears and the dust settles, revealing a Decepticon escape pod. The escape pod's door cracks open with a hiss of steam and pops right off before Grimlock emerges, holding his head while groaning.

*Knock* *Knock* "HEY!"

Grimlock opens his storage compartment and pulls the twins out before setting them down on the ground.

Jake: Great! Where'd we end now?

Blake looks around for a moment until he spots the same abandoned energon mine from earlier.

Blake: Looks like the same place from earlier, right Grimlock?

Grimlock: Mm-hmm.

Grimlock looks around before kneeling down to the twins' level.

Grimlock: Uhh...look! Me Grimlock sorry for putting boys' lives in danger. Me not ever meant to do that. Me was only trying to have fun with friends.

Blake: It's ok, Grimlock! We forgive you!

Jake: Yeah! And believe it or not, we actually had fun today!

Blake: Even though I was scared earlier.

Jake: I was too a little bit.

Blake: But even though we were stranded in space on an alien spaceship for most of the day...

Jake: We couldn't have asked to be stuck with anyone better than our big lug, Grimlock!

Grimlock: *Smiles*

Suddenly, the sound of jet engines filled the air as Grimlock looks up and spots a purple AC-130 heading in his direction.

Grimlock: Boys stay, me Grimlock go!

Grimlock walks off while the two twins stand back and watch from behind the cover of the escape pod.

Blake: Welp! There he goes!

Grimlock stops in his tracks as the plane slowly descends and transforms into a large, bulky, and purple Decepticon with a single red optic that stood over 40 feet tall before sticking a landing at the edge of the crater, shattering the ground and shaking the area upon impact.

Lugnut: Grimlock!

Grimlock: Lugnut!

Grimlock pounds his fists together.

Lugnut: BY MY OWN TWO HANDS, YOU AND YOUR PET RODENTS SHALL PERISH IN THE NAME OF GLOOOOOORIUS MEGATRON!!!

Grimlock: *Growls* YOU WANT ME GRIMLOCK FRIENDS, YOU GET THROUGH...UHHH...ME GRIMLOCK!!!

Grimlock and Lugnut charge forward and lunge at each other.

Lugnut full on spears Grimlock to the ground as the two heaviest hitters of their respective factions were sent tumbling several feet back.

Lugnut grabs Grimlock and lifts him high above his head and throws the large Dinobot several feet away.

Grimlock catches himself and lands on his feet as he buries large pedes into the ground, bringing himself to a screeching halt.

Grimlock looks up and snarls at Lugnut as a brief standoff occurs between the two.

Jake: Hoho! This is gonna be awesome!

Lugnut reaches back and pulls out his War Hammer.

In return, Grimlock pulls out his War Club.

The standoff continues as the two large brutes lock optics, both of them closely watching each other and waiting for the first move to be made.
