Episode 5: The Fifth

"Cybertron"

At the Cybertronian Elite Guard Headquarters, Ultra Magnus sits at his desk and reads a few mission reports on his datapad. (A Cybertronian version of an iPad basically) The door of the office slides open and Ultra Magnus looks up as the four Elite Guard officers, Drift, Crosshairs, Hound, and Jolt walk into the room.

Ultra Magnus: I assume everything is well.

Drift: Afraid not, Ultra Magnus, sir! We just received reports from a unit that their base has come under attack by the Decepticons and that The Nemesis has been taken and is currently on a course for a planet in a distant star system called Earth via a spacebridge!

Ultra Magnus stands to his feet.

Drift: If there were ever a time to take action, it would be now!

Ultra Magnus: Agreed!

Ultra Magnus taps and holds the bottom of his datapad as he sends out an emergency signal as the device beeps.

*Earth*

"Autobot Base, 12:25 A.M"

An alarm goes off as Optimus Prime, Elita One, and Prowl walk up to the set of monitors.

Elita One: What is it?

Prowl steps up to the monitors.

Prowl: A message.

Prowl taps a button on the keyboard.

Ultra Magnus: "Autobots!"

Prowl: Ultra Magnus, sir!

Ultra Magnus: "Good speaking to you again, lieutenant! Where is Optimus Prime?"

Prowl: Right next to me, sir!

Ultra Magnus: "I wish to speak to him! We have an emergency!"

Prowl steps aside as Optimus walks up to the monitors and taps the mic button on the keyboard.

Optimus Prime: What is it, Ultra Magnus?

Ultra Magnus: "Decepticons! They've stormed one of our facilities, reclaimed their warship, and are currently on their way to Earth as we speak!"

Optimus Prime: Hmmm.

Prowl: Looks like the Gold Energon was merely the tip of the iceberg for their evil schemes.

Ultra Magnus: "We'd be more than happy to assist, but we are currently fighting a lot of fires back home, providing defense from any intergalactic threats and hunting down Decepticon remnants along with a lone Predacon lurking about!"

Optimus Prime: We will do whatever it takes to neutralize the growing Decepticon threat, Ultra Magnus!

Ultra Magnus: "I'm sure you will, sir! Ultra Magnus out!"

The voice transmission ends.

Elita One: So what will we do to protect this world and its inhabitants now that the Decepticons have returned once again?

Optimus Prime: Whatever it takes, old friend.

Optimus Prime looks at Prowl.

Optimus Prime: Prowl, contact Agent Fowler. We're going to need his assistance in recruiting the help of an old friend.

Prowl: On it, sir!

Prowl taps his earpiece as he contacts Agent Fowler.

"6:00 A.M"

On a large island out in the Pacific surrounded by 40ft tall high powered electric fences, a CH-47 Chinook helicopter descends from the sky as it drops off a pile of scrap metal.
