Chapter 8 - Sleepy Suna

Tuesday 23rd November

Third Person Pov

The two boys stand there, side by side as the wind pushes their hair away from their face

The silence was long and peaceful, until Osamu decided to break it "So what do you think?"

Suna quickly peered down and cleared his throat "it looks nice" he replied not making eye contact with Osamu

"Yeah, my father use to bring me and Atsumu here when we were younger, and we would always stay outside late star gazing. He chuckles
"We would get in trouble by our mother for staying out too late, but we'd still do it anyway"

Suna then looked up at Osamu, who was staring at him "it must be nice having a twin you're close with"

The grey-haired boy smiled "To be honest, I'm always complaining about Tsumu but in the end, yeah it's nice having a twin"

Rintarou's lips drop the slightest

"Suna, do you have any siblings?" Samu asks

"No. Well not anymore"

Osamu raises an eyebrow at the boy's answer "what do you mean?"

"I use to have a twin, but he disappeared"

"Oh, I'm sorry... I shouldn't have mentioned it"

"It's fine" Suna brushes off the awkwardness "shall we go? Or do you have something else to show me?"

"Well it's getting late" Osamu checks the watch on his wrist "do you want to stay here tonight?"

Suna thinks about it. If he stays here, then there will be a high chance that he will not make it if there was a last minute mission. But at the same time, he is knackered and really needs some sleep

Rintarou contemplates between the options he has, stay or leave. Choose one

Osamu sighs at the brunette's thinking face "let's just stay. You look really tired and I am too"

Suna couldn't decide so he just agreed

They both enter the house, it was huge and cold. The brown laminate floor was so shiny that is seemed like no one has stepped foot into the building once

"Oh wow it's been a while" Osamu exhales

"When was the last time you came here?" Suna wonders

"It was before my mother passed away, so about 8 years ago I think"

"Oh so it's been a while"

"Mmm"

The two head over to the main bedroom "You can stay here" Osamu says as he opens the door "this was my parents room, I'll be in the room next door"

"Ok" Suna replied

"I'll get you a extra change of clothes"

Suna entered the room and took off his blazer, placing it on a coach

He slumped onto the bed and gave out a large exhale. Within 5 minutes, Suna passed out

Osamu knocked on the door with extra clothes in his hand, but there was no answer. He knocked again, still no answer. He entered the room in worry to realise, the boy had already fallen asleep, still wearing his uniform.

Osamu pulls the blanket out from under Suna and lightly places it over him "wow he must have been really sleepy" he walks over to the light switch and turns it off "good night Rin" he smiles and shuts the door

The next morning Suna woke up in a jolt "oh shit oh shit" he rushes out the room to go find the twin "Osamu! We're late" He enter the kitchen to see Samu cooking like he has all the time in the world

"Good Morning, Suna" Osamu replied "ready for breakfast?"

"What do you mean? We're late for work" He blinks at him

Osamu shucked his head "Did you forget I'm the boss? It's fine if we're late"

Suna sighed and sat down on the chair

"You were really tired last night" Osamu laughs softly "you fell asleep in your uniform"

Suna looks down and realizes his appearance 'oh shit I forgot'

Osamu places the breakfast in front of the brunette and himself "eat up"

The boy watches the other take a bite of the food "How is it?"

Suna wipes the crumbs off his lips and smiles lightly "it's nice"

A smile creeps up on Samu's face "I'm glad you liked it" His hand moved forward, touching Rintarou's nose

Suna leaned back with a confused look on his face

"There was something on your nose" he points at his own

"I could have done it myself" Suna replies stubbornly

"Oh well, I'll let you know next time"
