Third Person PovThe rain was dripping quite harshly. It was cold, freezing. Well that's what you expect in winter
The sun had set a while ago and the moon was already up
Suna found himself in Infront of Miya Corporation, soaked from the rain
A few more steps and he would be insideHe stared at the building as his dull eyes rose up to look at that one room that was always so bright, Osamu's office
No other lights were on, on that floor. Just Osamu's
Suna took a deep breath as he stepped foot into the building. He scanned the lobby area, it was quieter during the night than day and he loved that
He made his way towards the elevators when a man called out his name "Mr, Suna"
He turned to see this man, his pale face not interested at all
"Mr Suna," the darkish hair man said "Where have you been? Mr. Miya has been looking for you"
This man was the same guy who replaced Suna that one time when he was off. Of course, he remembered. His face triggered him
"Are you working for Osamu again?" Suna asked, his tone a bit bothered
"Well I've always worked for Mr. Miya since I joined this company" The man smiled
"I meant as my replacement"
"Well I wouldn't say replace, more like substitute-"
Suna turned back around and pressed the arrow which was pointing up "I'm going to go speak with Osamu now"
"Oh- ah ok" The coworker bowed before leaving
Suna was on the floor where Osamu's office was, where he had his first interview, and where this whole mission started
At a steady pace, he approached the huge doors which towered over him. His heartbeat started to race up at an abnormal speed. He couldn't do it. He couldn't bring himself to knock on the door
Seconds pass into minutes and he still stood out there
"Rintarou, Come on. Just Knock" he whispered to himself
His fingers clenched into a fist as he looked up at the door. He placed his knuckles against the metal and two knocks
His hands fell beside his hips as he waited
"Come in" a voice mumbled inside
Suna froze
At this moment of time, he regretted everything. He hated his father. He hated how he became this awful person because of him. He hated that he lied to Osamu and had to keep this charade up. He hated everything
The voice echoed again inside but louder this time "Come in?"
Still no movement from Suna
Quiet steps started getting louder. The sound moving more toward the door
It stopped
The door opened slowly, revealing a dimly lit room
Suna's heart raced as he looked down, feeling nervous
"Suna..." came the muffled voice
Raising his gaze, Suna's eyes met the boy he had longed for, his feelings bottled up inside him for far too long
"Suna..." the name slipped out of the boy's mouth more clearly now, hanging in the air between them
Suna couldn't hold back any longer. His arms instinctively rose, wrapping themselves around Osamu's torso
Osamu, taken aback by the sudden embrace, stumbled back slightly but quickly regained his balance
He held Suna, his arms provided as a cover.
"Suna, why are you all drenched? How long have you been outside?" Osamu's voice was laced with worry as he felt Suna's head resting on his shoulder
Suna's hand traveled up, his touch cold against Osamu's warm cheeks. His eyes flickered as he gazed into Osamu's confused eyes, searching for something.
"Are you-" Osamu began, but his words were cut off by Suna's lips.
Time seemed to stand still as their mouths met, their breaths warm against each other
Suna moved back as his hand traveled down Osamu's body to his elbow
Osamu, his eyes filled with a glint of surprise, kept his arms outstretched. He bit his own lip, unable to tear his gaze away from Suna's lips, a silent invitation for more
Feeling the pull of Osamu, Suna was drawn back into another kiss, this time longer than before. Their lips molded together with hunger as they lost themselves in the intoxication of each other's taste
When they finally parted, a thin string of saliva connected their lips
Osamu, his eyes filled with affection, brushed his finger carefully over Suna's reddened lips
"Sorry," Osamu whispered, his voice filled with genuine remorse
Suna, his eyes locked with Osamu's, shook his head gently, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I should be the one saying sorry"
"Is my lips red too?" Placed his hand in his pocket trying to find his phone
"What? No, well kind of but listen to me" Suna interrupted his search, his voice urgent "I'm not good with these kinds of stuff, but I didn't realize until yesterday that I felt a certain way towards you. Not as friends though"
Osamu's smile widened, a flicker of hope shining in his eyes, as he listened carefully
"I like you. I like you so much that it's killing me and it hurts because I feel unworthy of someone like you," Suna confessed, his words pouring out rapidly
Confusion clouded Osamu's face. "What are you talking about? Why would you feel guilty? I like you too," he reassured, his hand finding its place on Suna's shoulders
Suna's eyes searched Osamu's, his voice softening. "That doesn't make it any easier. How can you like me?"
Osamu smiled gently, his voice filled with affection. "Suna, I love how you act all tough when deep down, you have a soft heart. I adore the way your jealousy is so transparent on your face. I'm captivated by the way you look at me, pretending not to be interested in anything but your job," he confessed, clearing his throat before continuing, "I love you, Suna Rintarou."
Overwhelmed with emotions, Suna was pulled into a tight embrace by Osamu. They held each other tightly, the warmth of their bodies and the beating of their hearts
"I love you too," Suna whispered against Osamu's chest, his voice filled with sincerity
As they held each other in their arms, Osamu spoke softly against Suna's ear. "I've been waiting for this, Suna. Waiting for you. I've wanted you by my side for so long," he expressed
Suna couldn't help but smile. "I've wanted the same," he admitted, his voice filled with warmth and affection
It was a realization that had taken time to surface, but now that it had, Suna felt a sense of happiness
Osamu's hold loosened slightly, and he pulled back to look into Suna's eyes. There was a spark of excitement in his gaze as he asked, "Suna, would you let me take you out? Let's spend some time together, just the two of us."
Suna couldn't help but chuckle, "But it's anyway always the two of us"
"You know, on a date" Osamu got a bit flustered
"Of course," he replied, his voice carrying a hint of playfulness. "I'd love that."
Now with all the cute stuff out of the way, I can start with my terrible ideas
