Third Person Pov
"Mother!" Akaashi ran up to her
"Auntie! Are you ok?" Osamu got up
Tears start to drown her eyes
Suna stood up in shock
Akaashi's Mother (Akari) trembled forward, staring at Suna
"Mother?" Akaashi called her in worry
"What's your name?" Akari faintly drawled
Suna stayed quiet for a second and looked at Osamu with confusion. Samu just stared at him, not moving his head, not mouthing anything to him.
Suna finally opened his lips and spoke softly "Suna Rin"
Her abandoned smile returned to her face, "No it's not" she sniffed
Akari stepped closer to the brunette, brushing her fingers against his cheek
"It's Rintarou"
Suna's heart dropped
Her arms wrap around his torso, her tears dripping down his shirt
Rintarou froze, he didn't look at Osamu this time, but at Akaashi
Keiji's eyes started to flood with water, slowly dripping down his face.
'what's going on? why are they crying? why does she know my name?' Thoughts bottle up in Suna's head
Akari let goes of the boy and looks up at him "You've grown so tall" she wept
The brunette stands there still clueless about what's going on
"You don't remember, do you?" she chuckles in a hurt manner
"I'm your mother, Rintarou"
Suna fell back onto the chair, heart racing, his adrenaline pacing faster
speechless
It felt as if his heart got crushed into millions of pieces, then glued back together to be broken again
"Hah" a quiet laugh fell out of his mouth
the laughter got louder and louder, with tears mixed in with it
his mother looked at him "Rintarou-"
"Don't call me that!" Suna screamed at Akari
Which took her back "Rint-"
"I SAID DON'T CALL ME THAT!" Suna broke down crying
"My baby" She tried to touch his face to comfort him, but he just pushed her away
"Don't 'My Baby' me after leaving without saying anything!" He sobbed
"I had my reasons" She tried to justify
"Reasons?" Suna scoffed "Please. YOU DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER CALLING ME! Not even once..."
His tears dripped onto the pants he borrowed from Osamu "I bet you didn't even try"
Akari kneeled down trying to get Suna to look into her eye "Please hear me out"
"No. I don't even know why you bothered to tell me who you are. Because of you, I went through shit alone. All by myself"
Suna stood up and stomped out of the room
"Rintarou!" She called out
Osamu was about to follow him when he stopped and looked at Akaashi and Akari.
"No," Akashi said to Samu with sniffles in between "Go after him, make sure he's fine"
Osamu hesitated for a second then ran out of the house
"Suna! Suna! "He called out, trying to find him "fuck sake! Suna where did you go?!
Osamu ran his fingers through his hair as he looked around, he sprinted to the end of the road to see a brunette sitting on the floor
"Suna..."
He walked over to the boy and crouched down "Suna-"
Before he was able to say anything, Rintarou pull him into a hug
Osamu just kept quiet. He wrapped his arm around Suna, keeping him warm. He could feel his shoulders starting to get wet and his leg aching from the position he was squatting in. But that didn't stop him from staying by the boy's side
They sat like this for a few seconds until Suna pulled back
"Osamu..." Rintarou started but was cut off by Osamu hugging him back even tighter
Osamu pushed Suna's shoulders back and looked at him "Let's go back home ok?"
The brunette sniffles and nods
Osamu helps him up slowly and takes him to the car "Go to sleep" he says covering Suna's eye
Rintarou didn't care at that moment, whatever happens to him, so he shut his eyes
Plot twist! Well you probably knew it was coming, I gave such obvious hints
