This is part 2 to Dr. Young's Notes, and once again Jonathon Crane comes into the picture to try and overcome Batman's mind with his Fear Gas. Will the Dark Knight fight his fear just as Robin did? Find out now.
Batman Pov:
After finding Robin and rescuing Cash and the second guard deployed on the hunt for Dr. Young's research, we get back onto the search for Dr. Young as we find ourselves going to her office. We go running off from the Records Room, and Joker's voice once again comes back.
Joker(Speaker): Going after the notes yourself, eh, Bats? Good luck! I've got a crew working over the Doctor as I speak. They'll squeeze the formula out of her soon enough. Not to mention the army of clowns ripping this place apart. One way or another, the formula will be mine. Why don't you and Robin just give up? Go on, roll over and die for once! Be your best friend!
(Now just so I'm clear, does anyone know what Joker meant by that? For the longest time I've thought that he was talking about Jason Todd and it lead to every other clue I've seen because of Easter Eggs about the game, plus it's getting even clear after figuring out in Batman Arkham VR and Batman Arkham Knight that Joker tortured and eventually killed Jason in an abandoned wing of Arkham. For those who can answer this question, then I'll be eternally grateful.)
After getting through the North Corridor, we start hearing voice coming from the vent we're in and it sounds like some of Joker's thugs.
B/p 1: It's not going to open!
B/p 2: Hold on. I think I've got it!
B/p 3: You said that 10 minutes ago!
We keep walking around as they continue talking.
B/p 1: You can be the one to tell him. I'm not gonna!
B/p 2: It'll be open any second... Damn it!
B/p 3: You're an idiot. Joker's not gonna be happy. And you know what that means!
B/p 2: Quiet. Just shut up. I'm trying! I'm trying!
B/p 1: Don't have to explain it to me!
Robin glides in and kicks the thug with the gun, which isn't smart but he's been through a lot since this night started. I go down there to join him, but when there's just one guy left I knee him in the jaw and Robin slams his Bow Staff right on top of him which finally knocks him out.
Robin: You know I had him, right?
Batman: When you're angry, you lose control and start doing reckless things. Calm down, Robin.
Robin takes a few good breaths and soothes his nerves, allowing him to keep a level head in the situation at hand.
Robin: Okay. We've made it to Dr. Young's office, but it looks like she's already got it locked.
Batman: And by the looks of it, Joker's thugs were trying to get in. We've got to find a different way in.
We go up to the flight of stairs and look around, until just above a countertop we see a vent on the wall that leads directly into Dr. Young's office.
Robin: Batman. Before you go into the office, look over here.
I go over to Robin who's standing near a dead body with the toes sticking out.
