"Stop! Get back here!"

Vex, Vax and Miel ran through the alleyways running from the guards. The group had agreed, one half goes to Gilmore's and the other half find transportation.

Miel ran ahead of Vax, only for him to pull her back behind a wall when he saw two guards.

"Where'd they go?"

"Do you see them?"

Vax looked at his lover and sister. He nodded his head and the three of them ran for it.

"Over here! Come on!" On said as they were being chased again. They made it to the store and ran for the side where there was an opening under it. Vex and a Vax knelt next to the small window while Miel sat in front of it and opened her hands to reveal a squirrel. The small animal jumped in and morphed into Keyleth. The Ashari quickly ran to the window and opened right as the guards were getting closer. Right before the guards could see them, everyone was inside the building and made they're way inside. Vax opened up one of the floor boards and climbed out, followed by the rest of the girls.

"Oh being bad is so exciting" Keyleth whispered as the other three looks through Gilmore's things to see what they'll take.

Right after she said that, pink smoke appeared around them, encaging them in a jewel. Then someone cleared their throat. They look to the second floor and saw Gilmore himself.

"Crime does not pay" he winced when he noticed who it was, "but it is entertaining"

He walked down the stairs and snapped his fingers, releasing the four. Only to have the three girls land on top of Vax.

"Uh, we weren't breaking in or anything" Keyleth tried, "just, you know, sort of on the run"

"A quick stop at your store on our way out of town" Vax added

"While it was closed" Gilmore said, "I assume you were gonna leave an IOU?"

The group of four didn't say anything before they just walked past Gilmore, "of course, darling. You know us" Vex laughed

"All too well" Gilmore chuckled

Vex and Keyleth walked around the store, gathering everything the needed to defeat the Briarwoods without Pike.

"Dagger, dagger, dagger...wooden stake! Perfect" Vax said and the girls placed an enormous pile of weapons in front of Gilmore

"I'll take these enchanted arrows" Vex said

"And as much garlic as you can spare" Keyleth added

"Oof, I don't want to know" Gilmore said, "no, that's a lie. I absolutely want to know. What's this all about?"

"We kind of pissed off a vampire" Keyleth said

"And our healer's out of commission" Vex said then glanced at Miel, who was standing next to Vax, "and our second option isn't exactly at their best"

"HEY!" Miel growled walked away from the group to look around. Vax sent a glare to his sister

"Mm, then may I suggest the addition of something special?" Gilmore said, making a small bottle appear in his hand, "holy water. One of the only things truly known to stop a vampire...well, that and direct sunlight."

"We will take all the holy water you've got" Vex said

"You're looking at it"

Vex sighed, "I'll need to grab a few more things, then"

Miel looked around the shop. Surely there had to something that she could use as well. Most of the stuff Vex was getting were for herself, plus some things things that the rest of the group could use. Just as she was about to turn and look somewhere else, she noticed a small simple silver bracelet with a blue marble gem on it. She narrowed her eyes as she picked it up. There was a small glow to it but it was faint. A sudden crash made her, and the rest of the group, turn to look at Keyleth, who had some mechanism stuck on her fingers.
