Kate's POV
Tuesday 13th Feburary 2018
The whole room was silent then after some deep thoughts apparently.
Everyone started saying that they heard that it was Blake's party. Not going to jail seems the better option since 1) Blake Richards was not here and 2) If the girl he threw the party for ratted out on him why couldn't they? 3) What can he do if he goes to jail?
Absolutely nothing.
After 30 more minutes the the station started to clear. 4 of us remained. My parents and I. Plus a Jessica who kept drawing closer to my mom. We were seated in from of the officer. Gregory was probably leaned up against some corner. I couldn't see him but those that steel like frame screamed loyalty.
"How was he able to throw a party at your house? Behind your back?" My mom asked.
"I don't know." I said refusing to put him in further trouble.
"Stop protecting him. Don't you see that everyone already admitted to him being the culprit. Thanks to Jessica. Who is smart enough to know that a guy isn't worth ruining your reputation and losing yourself for." My mother continued.
"I went about my day per usual. When I got home there was a huge party. I know nothing else." I said folding my lips and turning my head.
"This is rediculous." My mother said throwing her hands up in the air.
"Officer I would like to press charges. Blake Richards apparently broke into the house, started a party, with a lot of illegal substances. Minors were even engaging in sexual activities." Mom said to the officer in charge.
"That is not entirely correct. I am just not sure if you can handle the truth." Jessica said pulling her chair closer to my family.
My gaze quickly turned to her.
Why is she still here?
How much is she going to say?
Does Blake really mean so little to her?
The party was literally for her.
"What do you mean?" Mom eyed her suspiciously.
"Can you really handle the truth? I wouldn't want the meticulous Kristen Jones. To faint in the Police station. It's a miracle the paparazzi isn't here already. You must have switched cars right? The lemosine was probably waiting for you just outside of Rose Valley." Jessica trailed off. Her eyes sparkling as though she was meeting her favorite artisit or something.
Paparazzi? I am sure my mother rented the lemosine just to look famous. We aren't rich. Business is just doing well. I wouldn't know either way. After being shipped away; They did not stay in touch and well neither did I.
"Jessica don't be silly. Why would I faint over such a tedious matter? Yes, it was quite a hassle getting here. Katherine should be grateful we even made the effort to come." My mom said flipping her perfect brunnett locks.
"Well if you are sure." Jessica said smiling innocently but her eyes were nothing but devious.
"Katherine as you put it; lives with Blake Richards so if you put 1 and 2 together it was not illegal entering. More of she falling for the wrong guy and getting played." She said as though she pittied me.
"What?!" My mother yelled.
All the colour and life drained from my parents faces. Even the officer could not help but look surprised.
