Kate's POV

I honestly thought that today would be different but it wasn't. I woke up to a cold empty spot next to me. I checked the time and it was just 8 in the morning. How could it already be cold unless he didn't spend the entire night beside me. I felt an unsettling feeling washing over me. If this continues my relationship will be in jeopardy. I have not the slightest of ideas what Blake had gone through those weeks when we were apart but could it be that he no longer had any feelings for me? Then why is he back? I want him yes but isn't this just cruel? I did my morning routine then walked downstairs. There he was lying in the couch covered in a sheet typing away on this laptop with a pillow under his head. He slept here.

"Blake did you sleep down here last night?" I said not bothering to say good morning.

"Ya". Was all I got in return. No look of acknowledgement nothing.

"Blake why are you acting like this?" I said stepping closer to him.

no reply

"Blake why won't you talk to me?"

"I am speaking to you." He said flatly.

"But you aren't truly speaking to me are you?"

No reply

"Blake are you back to break up with me?"

No reply

"Can't you just get off that stupid computer and talk to me!" I raised my voice slightly.

"No I am working."

"Ever since you got back that is all you do."

"Yeah it's alot of work"

"No one works 24 hours a day."

"Work never truly ends Kate."

"Blake you know what I mean"

"Not really no"

"Blake are you back to break up with me" I repeat once again. my body fearing the answer even though I asked.

"That would be a waste of time wouldn't it?"

"Then why are you treating me like this?"

"Kate I have done nothing to you."

"Exactly! Nothing! Absolutely nothing!"

"Isn't that good?"

"Blake we are in a relationship."

"So I've been told."

"You haven't kissed me, we haven't had sex, we barely speak, you don't sleep with me, we haven't ate together or had a proper conversation since you've returned. Is this really a relationship?"

"Of course, nothing is wrong with a little platonicy"

"Blake why don't you look at me?

"I already know how you look"

"Please stop being difficult."

No answer

"Blake I really can't take this anymore" my voice broke and I tried to hold back my tears.

"Katherine, I don't know what you are going on about".

"I would like for things to go back to the way they were." I said.

"I know I messed up especially because I was super anxious but things can be fixed right?"

Katherine, I don't think you understand the severity of your actions."

"I didn't mean for my parents to come in and ruin things even further. Jessica was the one who told them about you and edged them on."

"Katherine, I got arrested at my first public showing. My godfather's company lost billions of dollars in shares because of it."
