Chapter 48

KATE'S POV

25/01/2018   Thursday

Blake and I were currently walking through the hallway on our way to the next class when Camryn sent me a text message saying, "Hey, where are you lets meet up now. I have something cool to show you"

I quickly sent, "Okay, where are you?"

Stopping and causing Blake to stop as well.

Her reply came instantly, "I am in the classroom that you just passed."

I looked behind me noticing that I had actually just passed a classroom replied, "Okay, I am coming".

I turned to Blake and waited until I got his attention before saying, "I will meet you in class. I am going to do something quick" then releasing his hand.

He shrugged and said okay. Then I walked to the classroom searching for Camryn who was staring at me through the window. I walked through the door and Camryn grabbed my hand and lead me to one of the seats before removing her phone from her pocket.

Camryn showed me the cutest pictures of bentail just being silly. There was even a video of him jumping on her grandmother's foot when she was walking by. I was in awe.

Camryn explained that she just wanted to see me and my reactions to the pictures because I had the cutest expressions. She said that she really could not wait until later because she was looking forward to it the entire night after she recorded the video.

It was almost time for class so I told Camryn that I was leaving because I didn't want the teacher to get to class before me and she offered to walk me to my class.

We were at the classroom door when I saw Jess in falling into Blake's arms. The two were so close that their lips brushed before Jess lips landed on his cheek. I could feel my heart clench. After she was steady he pulled her off then shook his head with a smirk before walking into this seat. He sat down nonchalantly, while Jess rolled her eyes? I wasn't quite sure from the angle I was standing but she had an ugly smile plastered on her witch like face. I walked to my seat and sat down not even bothering to make eye contact Blake. I did not even check tosee if Camryn had returned to her class. I hope that she didn't see it. She was saying such negative things about Blake yesterday. There would be no end to it if she saw that kiss. For the rest of the time at school I did not say a world to Blake. I did not like the fact that his lips touched another's lips and it was all I could think about. I just ignored whatever he said or did so eventually he got the memo and left me alone. I turned off my phone because I did not want to see any messages from Camryn because I knew that it would be about the kiss. I also did not want to see any circulating pictures about the kiss; if there was any.

The drive to the pet store was silent and when I was about to get out we saw that the shop was closed. Blake called Liz then put the phone on speaker just before she answered it.

"Why is the pet shop closed?" Blake asked as soon as she said hello.

"Oh I had sent Kate a message telling her not to come. I guess she hasn't seen it."

"Why aren't you here? Is everything okay?" He asked concerned.

"Yes, of course! Today, my anniversary so John and I am getting ready to set off on our weekend get away" Liz bragged.

"Happy anniversary. Have fun" Blake said before ending the call.

I was thinking that Blake would just take me home before he goes to wherever the hell he wants but no. Not Mr. Richards. First he went to the mall and I stayed in the car of course. But but... he turned off the car and walked with the key so I was just there locked in the car with no music. Thankfully, it was late evening and the weather was still chilly so I wasn't hot. He took like an hour! I was determined not to turn on my phone because I just knew for a fact that Camryn would just be ready to tear my heart out with assumptions and possibly facts about just how awful Blake is.

I was starting to nod off when Blake came back with a sandwich and juice. Just one. Then he sat there and ate it right next to me. It smelled so so good. My lips were also dry. I hadn't ate since lunch and I did not even eat everything because my appetite was gone. But look when it chose to return. I looked at Blake and he had a sly smile on his lips while he was eating.

It was so obviously that he was doing all this because I was ignoring him. Spiteful!

He was driving in the opposite direction of the house. Couldn't he just take me home or leave me on the side of the road so I could go home.

"Blake can you just stop here? I would like to go home." I said when I realised that he was probably leaving the town or going to the garage.

"Have I ever left you on the side of the road before?" He asked not bothering to stop.

"No, but who knows? Things might change and today has been a very shocking day with numerous unexpected turn of events so one more would not be so surprising." I said rolling my eyes.

"Kate, I am not letting you out on the side of the road. You are coming with me." He said softly.

"I do not want to go with you. I don't even want to talk to you right now." I said frustratedly.

"And why is that Kat?" He said then pulled off the road and stopped the car before directing his attention to me.

I used the opportunity to open the door but Blake locked it.

"Because you kissed her Blake!" I said throwing my hands up in the air.
