That afternoon Christine made her way to Steve's house with Shannon and foil in hand. After a quick knock she pushed open the front door and instantly heard laughter from the guys.

"Hello?" She called from the doorway.

"There she is," Steve poked his head around from the dining area and grinned at her. "You got it!"

"Yep," she held the Thai-marked long rectangular card box out. "What do you even need it for?"

"Fortification," he replied excitedly and relieved her of the foil before leaning in to lightly peck the side of her forehead. "You beauty."

"Greaser," Christine rolled her eyes and walked on.

"Mademoiselle," he uttered sweetly as he spotted his other guest arrival.

"Monsieur Steven," Shannon smiled and stepped inside before he closed the door again and locked it.

"Really?" Christine glared back at him as she spotted the 'project' on the dining room table in front of the guys.

"What?" Steve grinned at her.

"It's a hooker!" Tammy informed her as she got up from the couch.

"Hookah, Tam," Steve corrected her pronunciation. "Hoo-kah."

"Hoo-kah," she repeated.

"Yes. So, we've modified this vintage canister essentially into a super bong," Steve informed her needlessly before passing the box of foil to Drake.

"Complete with easy smoke delivery system," Drake showcased an oxygen mask that was superglued to the elbow piece of a PVC pipe.

"It's creative, I'll give you that," she glanced at the others that were sat around it being Damian, Drake and Lenka. Attached to the base of the canister were three identical spigot pipes fitted at an upright angle around the sides. The detachable lid currently had a hole cut out of the centre to which they were fastening it to a short length of pipe with an elbow joint where the old oxygen face mask was then affixed.

"It's going to be a team effort," Damian snickered.

"You know it," Drake nodded before tearing a few random pieces of foil and handing them off to the others for some meticulous folding.

"You want it in there?" Lenka asked as he inspected the pipe joinery and container lid with a hole cut in it.

"That's it, dude. Use that quality foil to make the connections tight," Steve grinned at his seemingly genius idea.

"I can't believe you harassed me for that," Christine rolled her eyes again before making her way over to the couch to relax.

"So, how did your second date go?" Tammy asked as she followed her over. "You didn't call me about it! And I couldn't text you because I ran out of credit and my dad won't give me money."
Shannon smiled knowingly while taking a seat on the same couch.

"Sorry, I got distracted..." she sighed. "And no. Andy was no good. Too young, maybe?"

"Oh, did you want us to find you another date?" Tammy asked in determination.

"No! Ah, no I'm fine, sweets. Have you asked James out yet?" Christine quickly replied.

"No," Tammy blushed. "I'm hoping maybe he will."

"You can no jus hope, Tammy," Shannon stated. "You should go do."

"I agree," Christine nodded.
