After settling down to an extra-large table at Cafe Urban, Christine arrived not too long after them and paced into the quaint establishment to find her friends gathered around two pushed together tables.

"I came as quick as I could," she uttered before glaring at Steve. "Don't!"
He simply smiled before noticing her lack of companion as Christine walked over and wrapped her arms around her clearly distressed looking friend.

"Where's the mademoiselle?"

"She thinks she might not be feeling too well. So, she opted to stay in bed," Christine informed them before getting a better look at Morgan. "What the hell happened, doll?"

"Tony kidnapped her!" Tammy exclaimed from the other side of her. Ferrie nodded.

"And for once she's not even exaggerating."

"Oh my god," Christine gasped and hugged her again. "Are you alright, sweetie?"

"I will be," Morgan pushed out and patted her arm.
Christine then glanced around to see only one more out of the group not around the already crowded table.

"Drakes still asleep, I presume," she guessed while pulling an extra chair over to seat herself beside Lenka.

"I guess so," Damian answered. "He hasn't answered any calls or messages, so we can presume he's dead to the world with a hangover."

"Is he having girlfriend issues?" Steve queried Damian to see him shrug.

"There will be no speak of him or his mistakes today," Ferrie stated bluntly. "Right now, we're here for Morg."

"Thanks girl," Morgan smiled weakly as she attempted to go through the events of the past few days.

It was agreed that Morgan would stay for the time being at Steve's secure home, that was fitted with an expensive alarmed security system.
The next morning she finally agreed to allow her mother to come see her, but mainly because a change into her own clothing was in desperate need. Julianne marched into Steve's main lounge to find her daughter after being let through the front door.

"What have you done..."

"Somebody else did that to her," Steve stated obviously as he walked by her to the other couch.

"Tony?"

"Yep," Morgan sombrely confirmed.

"How long were you even dating that man?" She asked before taking a seat beside her on the couch. Morgan pulled her face away as her mother reached out to touch the severe bruise-like hickies and marks that still vividly lingered on her skin.

"I'm fine, mum. Thanks for asking..." she uttered sarcastically.

"Sorry," she exclaimed after realising. "I do hope you're alright. I'm just so angry that some dirty scumbag even did this to you."

"Mh," Morgan agreed tentatively. "We dated for two weeks, and he stalked me for three."

"He stalked you?" Julianne gasped. "Morgan, I really wish you would have told me about this Tony at the beginning. I would have warned you against him, I promise."

"Oh my god. I know, mother!" Morgan exclaimed in frustration. "That prick over there reminded me every chance he got about how much he didn't like him, but I didn't want to listen, and it would have been the same with you."
Steve simply nodded, knowing he didn't need to use a single word to announce his point of being so correct. Julianne glanced at Steve and looked him up and down.
