A couple hours later at a lavish French restaurant, Christine and Shannon were seated together in a small booth in the corner of the elegant eatery. As they finished their meals Shannon reached into her suspiciously oversized handbag and pulled out a decent sized gift-wrapped box. It was rectangular and maybe a bit shallower than a shoe box with pale pink and silver wrapping paper with a white ribbon.

"Aw, Shannon," Christine said as she saw it. Shannon smiled at her.

"I buy zis las week. When I see it, I knew I 'ad to get it for you."

"You spoil me," she blushed.

"Le gift earlier was a bonus."

"How did I find such a wonderful person?" Christine asked as she hugged her.

"I adore you, Christine," Shannon replied then kissed her. "Now, open," she commanded and nudged the parcel towards her. Christine smiled as she peeled off the wrapping to find a thin white card box. She then lifted the lid and slowly pulled out a cute pale-pink dress. A short, subtly patterned, French styled dress with white lace trim around the bottom edge and netting under the skirt part. The top half of it was fashioned like a corset, with a snug fitting look that hugged the waist.

"It's beautiful," Christine gasped.

"I would like for you to wear more like this... I find jus so attractive."

"Like, every day?"

"Most days, maybe," Shannon answered hopefully. "If jou want."

"I will," Christine responded happily.

Come Monday morning Christine arrived at school in her new attire. She also wore a thin cardigan and white stockings to compliment the new dress. Steve and Lenka were the only ones at the spot this early today.

"Holy fuck..." Steve coughed out as he spotted her. Lenka glanced up and appeared a little surprised too, causing Christine to blush as she saw their faces.

"Pick your jaws up. It's just a dress!" she exclaimed as she reached them. Lenka listened to her and made his expression neutral again, but it took Steve much longer to accomplish the same task.

"You look great."

"It's been a great birthday," she smirked back at him. "Best yet."

"Did she take you out for dinner?" Steve enquired.

"Yes," she confirmed. "But she had dessert first..."

Steve recognised the sly smirk on her face, understanding exactly what she meant.

"No shame, huh?"

"No shame," she repeated, but less confidently.

"Proud of you," Steve smiled softly. "So, are you gonna tell us about it?"

"Not at all!" She gasped before he let off a laugh.

"Come on. Not even a little?"

"No, Steve!"

That lunch time break, Morgan decided she needed to prove Steve wrong about she and her boyfriend 'smashing bits' every time they were together, and messaged Tony, requesting he join them for lunch. Surprisingly, he obliged and not ten minutes later he was sitting there with them all.

"Still tending bar, Tony?" Damian asked politely.

"Sure am," Tony grinned. Morgan then placed her hand on his thigh and squeezed it.
