Hello hello!!!
Missed me?
I just realized I haven't written a chapter in this book since October...Wow XD
How are you all doing? How is Easter vacation for you? Do you celebrate it? Are you going to go or have you been anywhere during the vacation?
I really want to meet and go out with pretty much all of my friends but that's a bit hard bc this week I have only managed to meet with 2 (or rather 3 but 2 were like a group yk), so I doubt I will manage to meet everyone else the next week XD
Also I met a person my age with whom I can share a part of my personality that no one else has ever showed interest in! Actually the only one with whom I could talk about this type of things before was my dad (I mean I guess I got it from him so it makes sense) and even in that case, it's a bit weird because he is more like into researching and learning and he also focuses on the region only, while I m mostly interested in the general aesthetic and on other countries as well. Still not a single other person close to my age ever showed any interest until now so I m so so happy that I can finally share that aesthetic and part of my personality with someone else who understands it :D
Anywaysssss
What do I have for you today?
AN ANIMATED SERIES REVIEW HOORAY
The reason why I have not written one for such a long time is because I wanted to do Nightwish's movie first, before anything else, but I need to rewatch it in order to do so. Until I find the time to do that though, I thought I could write about a wonderful animated series I personally really really love. So here we areeee
V i o l e t E v e r g a r d e n

Violet Evergarden is a sweet anime drama series by Kyoto Animation that was released in 2018. Aside from the series, there are also two 2-hour-long movies and one 40-minute special episode. However, in this chapter, I will talk only about the series and the special episode since the movies were both a big disappointment for me. All of them can be found on Netflix.
Before I move on, I should note that even though, the series is considered a fantasy one, there aren't a lot of elements that would indicate such a thing. Other than the world that it takes place in, itself, as well as some professions, there aren't really any fantasy elements. Rather it resembles our world during the late 19th/early 20th century. I thought that that's something that you should know, since it makes it possible for both fantasy and non-fantasy fans to enjoy.
Plot
War had been raging on for four whole years, until peace found it's way in people's hearts. In the middle of all the cruelty and horridity, there stood a child soldier, a little girl with sky blue eyes and blond hair, a war machine -now out of order. She had been raised to kill, with no emotions, no ability to feel: a weapon. But now? Now she has to adapt to a whole new world while her major, Gilbert, the only man who gave a purpose to her life, is mysteriously gone. Struggling to understand the meaning of the last words major Gilbert spoke to her, "I love you", Violet becomes an Auto Memory Doll, a woman whose job is to read behind the client's true intentions and feelings, and transfer them to a letter.
