Hello to whoever is still here!
How are you doing?I 'm fine. Well almost, because I only have 2 days till my exams start :") But in the meantime I 'm busy distracting myself with my obsession with 70s/80s shoujo anime (for those who don't know shoujo is refering to manga meant for girls so basically it's mostly romance and cute stuff)~
Sooooo
There's this anime
I finished it a while ago actually
Which I absolutely fell in love with and it came into my top favourites list alongside Violet Evergarden and Naruto even before I finished it. And since I loved it so much I 'm going to try to make this review a really special, aesthetic, analytical, with many pictures, ✨deluxe✨ one, as this anime deserves 😌Before we go, three notes to take into account :))
--> This review is refering to the anime series adaptation of the story. Some of the points made can be applied to the manga (1972-1973) and the live action movie (1979) but they are not entirely the same. I haven't read the manga, thus I cannot talk about it. As for the movie, I 'll make a special reference to it later.
--> There are a few points made here that I hadn't observed while watching the anime but I realised them thanks to other reviews or observations made by the fandom in general *cough* YouTube comments *cough*
--> Finally, I would appreciate it if you left me any comments (if anyone's gonna read that thing anyway). You don't need to, obviously, but, since I put a lot of effort in this, I would like to know your thoughts :)
Now let's go!!
The Rose Of Versailles
(opening)
(opening 2015 version / a movie had been announced back then but no further information was revealed / I don't recommend watching this opening because it includes big spoilers ☝️)
(trailer of the live action adaptation)
